What a way to kick things off.

The two players test each other at the back of the court before Norrie forces Djokovic forward and passes him at the net. Even the defending champion had to applaud that one.

He soon gets his revenge as he pushes Norrie into the corner then lands the ball low in the mid-court to bring up 15-15.

The England men's footballers have got a summer off and so a few of them have been enjoying the tennis action over the past fortnight.

In recent days Chelsea's Reece James and Aston Villa's Tyrone Mings have been sat close to the media seats and today we have Arsenal's Bukayo Saka enjoying the action from a few rows in front.

With Djokovic popping off for a few minutes, the England winger takes the moment to grab a selfie with his mates.

Being British in the latter stages of Wimbledon comes with a lot of hype.

Norrie is the fourth British man to reach this stage in the Open Era, following Andy Murray, Tim Henman and Roger Taylor.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a steady rise up the rankings in recent years, but this is his biggest breakthrough at a major so far.

The world number 12 said before this one he is as ready as he can be for all the increased attention.

"I don't think you can prepare for stuff like this," he added.

Norrie has cycled to Wimbledon from his flat in west London during the tournament and said he is "getting a couple of looks" on his bike.

"It's not sunk in yet," he continued. "Obviously, there's a lot of hype and people following all around the world.

"It's a lot to take in right now but I'm going to have to try and bring it down again and go back to basics."

Well, you're never going to beat Novak Djokovic in straight sets are you...

The defending champion leaves Centre Court after levelling things and Cam Norrie is left to sit alone with his thoughts.

Great Britain's Alfie Hewett in his on-court interview after reaching the Wimbledon men's wheelchair singles final for the first time:

"I don't know if I've got much energy left to speak right now but I just want to say that was incredible. I've never experienced anything like this before so thank you to everyone.

"I was actually asleep at 9.30pm last night and I kept getting phone calls from the referee. I thought it's probably nothing important, just leave it - and it was actually a court change to Court One so once I found that out I didn't get much sleep after that!

"I've been buzzing for this sort of occasion. We've been lucky enough to be on Court Three and we've tried to push for our sport to be demonstrated in front of a bigger crowd - I said that yesterday in an interview.

"We try to improve the exposure of our sport and I think we showcased a pretty good level today."

And just like that, we're level again on Centre Court.

Novak Djokovic has certainly arrived in this men's semi-final to take the second set. Cameron Norrie couldn't manage to force a break point - in fact, he managed just three points in all on his opponent's serve.

May I have your attention please? The real Novak Djokovic has stood up.

The pressure finally tells on Norrie who, for the first time, looks a little despondent.

    Wow! What's going on here?

Novak Djokovic double-faults, and then miscues with a backhand to fall 0-30 down.

A real chance for Cameron Norrie to strike back.

    No he can't!

Oh dear, that's a poor miss from Cameron Norrie as he nets a seemingly routine volley.

And now it's two break points for Novak Djokovic. Can Norrie survive these too?

Norrie's got a lot to be proud that he's got the reputation of being so fit and it's through a lot of hard work. Talking about a guy maximising his potential and that's all you can hope to do as a pro - he's done an incredible job of it. He could be top 10 in the world because of it and that would've been unheard of a few years ago.

Once again, Cameron Norrie is required to dig his heels in and move back level with Novak Djokovic.

It's no easy task. After facing break point sin his past two service games, can he secure this one with a little less drama?

A delightful forehand from Novak Djokovic puts him in charge on serve once again.

And he has still just lost the single point after four service games in this second set!

That's a third hold to love for the defending champion, who is beginning to slowly move up through the gears now.
