Match point!
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 5-3 Ebden/Purcell*
NIck Kyrgios hangs in the air like prime Michael Jordan to nail a forehand but is a touch too casual on the following backhand and jabs it wide.
But the Ebden/Purcell pair cannot get over the line! Deuce once more.
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 5-3 Ebden/Purcell*
Deft from Matthe Ebden, and a flicker of tape on its way through, as he drops a volley just over the net. But it's deuce.
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 5-3 Ebden/Purcell*
A double fault from Max Purcell follows that brief interlude. Time to focus...
Matthew Ebden can only jab into the net. 15-30. Purcell then has to check his ball toss because of a noisy fan but Thanasi Kokkinakis punches a return long. 30-30.

He's being removed. I think he realised it was a stupid thing to shout as soon as he did it. But anyway, off he goes... I guess no one else will be shouting during a rally now, and that's Nick Kyrgios' point.
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 5-3 Ebden/Purcell*
Nick Kyrgios is gesturing to get him chucked out. The bloke looks mortified enough to be fair...
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 5-3 Ebden/Purcell*
Lovely touch from Matthew Ebden at the net. But the crowd break into a boo after one rowdy fan shouts when Max Purcell is about to take a shot. He's really not impressed.
Both sets of players are having a word with the umpire. The camera pans to the now-embarrassed looking suspect. 15-0.
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 5-3 Ebden/Purcell*
What a forehand winner from Thanasi Kokkinakis, opening up his body and spraying it down the tramlines beyond Matthew Ebden. Perfect.
That sets the platform for the hold, but only after Kokkinakis goes sprawling to the floor and Kyrgios runs over to hug/help him up.
They are one game away!
*Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 4-3 Ebden/Purcell
Oooh! Purcell almost finds the line with a knifed forehand and Kyrgios looks a relieved man after his nonchalant shot set up the chance. And then a double fault. Deuce.
There are the nerves...

You will notice that stuff [crowd shouting out between serves] a whole lot more when you are a little nervous.

Bosh! An ace down the T levels things up. He follows up with another. 30-15.
*Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 4-3 Ebden/Purcell
Can Thanasi Kokkinakis back up that break and put him and Nick Kyrgios one game away from a Grand Slam title? It's great defence from Matthew Ebden to kick things off, 0-15.

So much whip coming from Kyrgios, and Ebden just not quite able to get the job done.

Got it! The Special Ks pepper Matthew Ebden's side and come up trumps!
Thanasi Kokkinakis runs off to his chair, like he wants to fast forward into the next game.
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 3-3 Ebden/Purcell*
Spot of bother now for Max Purcell and Matthew Ebden... Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios suddenly burst into life and a superb forehand from Kyrgios brings up three break points.
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 3-3 Ebden/Purcell*
Finally a point against the serve! It comes off the strings of Thanasi Kokkinakis, who thuds a backhand into Matthew Ebden's path and he can only return it into the tape. 0-15.
Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 3-3 Ebden/Purcell*
Ebden engages Kyrgios as the Australian scuttles towards the net and his presence seems to do the job. Kyrgios levels up with another quick, love hold.

Max Purcell is hitting the spots. It's not out-and-out pace but there's a little kick on it.
Good variation. it's like the serve Pat Rafter used to have, getting them jammed up inside the baseline. Perfect.
Get some satisfaction from raining those kind of blows.
*Kyrgios/Kokkinakis 7-5 2-3 Ebden/Purcell
No-one can make a dent on serve at the moment. Saving energy for the business end of this set? Max Purcell jabs his way to the third successive love hold in the second set.
