    Swiatek v Gauff

Iga Swiatek replaced Ash Barty at the top of the rankings in March and has barely put a foot wrong since.

She did the Sunshine Double earlier this year - winning both Indian Wells and the Miami Open - and has won the Qatar Open, the Stuttgart Open and the Italian Open.

She has seven wins over top 10 players this year and has lost just three matches this season.

Victory today will see her lift her second major title and also draw level with Venus Williams for the longest winning streak on the WTA Tour in the 21st century.

Sizzling day by the Seine. Crackling by Chatrier.

A beauty of a day in Paris today, meaning the women's final will be played under the sapphire blue skies it is intended to be.

No danger of the roof being closed like for yesterday's first men's semi-final.

The only brollies needed outside Chatrier today are ones to protect bonces from being burned, not scalps being soaked.

    Swiatek v Gauff

Iga Swiatek is on a 34-match unbeaten streak. She's won her past eight finals. She's won five titles this year alone.

Can Coco Gauff stop her and win her first Grand Slam title?
