This guy is going to reach those heights. He's going to be contending at the sharp ends of Grand Slams in the future if he is physically able to cope.

There's so much upside and excitement about this young man.

In my mind, he was headed for the fourth round, there's no doubt about it.

He's an exciting player, another leftie coming out of Britain. It's phenomenal.

It's been a bitterly disappointing few minutes for the Murray family - around the time Andy was losing to Matteo Berrettini, Jamie was exiting the men's doubles alongside Bruno Soares.

He and Soares - the 2016 champions at Flushing Meadows - lost 6-7 (2-7) 6-7 (6-8) to Monaco's Hugo Nys and Poland's Jan Zielinski.

Murray and Soares, the 10th seeds, held set points at 5-4 in the second but could not convert.

There was better news for Briton Neal Skupski and American Desirae Krawczyk in the mixed doubles, as they saw off Americans Chris Eubanks and Alycia Parks 7-6 (7-4) 6-2.

Jack Draper has worked so hard to be here.

I think this young man has done incredibly well with the path he has taken to be here and to be such a great young tennis player, he just shows so much maturity.

I love so much about his game.
