Emma Raducanu was training on an outside court this morning and she stopped to sign autographs – well, one autograph to be precise.
The lucky recipients were these ladies – Gill, Fiona and Julia (left to right) – from Wortham tennis club in Suffolk.
Raducanu added her name to their union flag, where the autographs they have collected include the Murrays, Tim Henman, Anne Keothavong and the late Elena Baltacha.
They are looking forward to seeing how the tie pans out, with Julia saying “Emma will carry the burden, she is a real natural leader”.

She knows when she needs to go up the line and when to hang in the rally.
*Raducanu 1-5 Vondrousova
Vondrousova shoots a wry look at her captain Petr Pala as she's a little too overenthusiastic with an attempted drop shot.
