That's more like it from Andy Murray!

Fittingly, his best game of the match ends with that paint-licking forehand down the line.

Starting to get on top of the rallies now and more pressure like that *should* see Kokkinakis start missing more.

Murray has actually been dictating the baseline rallies at the moment. He has to go hard into that backhand corner if at all possible. But he is very good at mixing the play up.

    Yay, something straightforward for Murray.

Those moments have been few and far between in this match. The Brit holds to love with a glorious forehand winner that lands perfectly on the line.

Playing Andy Murray on a show-court might be a pretty nerve-wracking endeavour but Thanasi Kokkinakis has experience at the business end of the Australian Open.

He took the men's doubles title alongside Nick Kyrgios last year, so should be alright with the pressures of the second round.

Murray will need more than this in the face of a superb Kokkinakis performance.

Another flourishing forehand seals the hold for the Australian.

"Keep moaning Murray," one Aussie fan dryly instructs from behind the media seats.

That comes after the Scot bombs a return on a second serve and almost eats his hat in annoyance.

Andy Murray gets a look at a second serve and (surprise, surprise) is annoyed with himself when it comes to nothing.

Thanasi Kokkinakis doesn't take that chance again as he hits an ace for 30-0.

That five-set match [against Matteo Berrettini] will have left Murray sore. He's experienced and he knows what he needs to do to recover, and his team will have gone to work on his body.

He's been putting the work in, there's no doubts about that but even if you are the fittest guy in the world you're going to be sore.

He looked a bit slow in the first set but that was more the reading of the play.

We will see if Murray has the energy.

Novak Djokovic has just popped up on the Eurosport TV coverage to say his hamstring is "not good at all" after his second-round victory.

We'll see how that one develops.

A rueful smile from Kokkinakis. He can't believe he didn't beat Murray with either of those returns.

When he sees a winner whizz by him in the next point, the Aussie can only stick up his thumb in admiration.

Murray starting to warm up, slowly but surely. About mark four on the hob.

He has had to show good hands to fend off those forehands from Kokkinakis. That might do Murray good.

Murray gives himself a proper telling off after a forehand miss before pulling himself back together to bring up 15-15.

Kokkinakis has a go at cleaning up some sweat behind the baseline but eventually calls in a ball kid to help.

Let's hear what Novak Djokovic had to say after his victory:

"There was a lot happening in tonight's match. Enzo deserves credit for the fight. Especially in the second set.

"I managed to respond well in the third and the fourth."

On the crowd getting behind his opponent:

"It's expected when you walk in the court as the favourite and someone goes for his shots. I had many opportunities to win it in the second and I didn't and you just have to deal with it.

"I have been in this situation many times before so many times in my life and career and that also helps."

By miles the best that Murray has played in that match and the best sign is the movement. It looks like he's adjusting to the conditions.

It looks like he has warmed up and he's ready for it.
