  8. Murray holds with second-serve acepublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 6 July 2023

    Murray 6-7 (3-7) 7-6 (7-2) 4-2 Tsitsipas*

Not sure what Tsitsipas was up to there.

Jumped out wide to anticipate the second serve. Dunno if Murray noticed or was planning to go the other way, down the middle anyway. But it makes the Greek look a bit silly and Murray inches a game closer to taking this third set.

Big return from Stefanos Tsitsipas brings up 15-15 but the next one hits the net. And the next after that.

Good serving from Andy Murray, really making it tough for the Greek to get the ball back.

A brilliant rally follows, won by Tsitsipas, despite being on the defensive for much of it. 40-30.

I have to take my hat off to Tsitsipas in light of everything coming down from the stands and the love for Murray. He's holding firm.

Murray has done such a good job of keeping that intensity when he was behind in the first two sets. He has got to maintain that intensity.

  15. Saved againpublished at 22:12 British Summer Time 6 July 2023

    *Murray 6-7 (3-7) 7-6 (7-2) 2-1 Tsitsipas

Long, long rally. And Tsitsipas goes millimetres long to end it.

Murray points to his head like he had it mapped out all along. And then thumps down an ace.

The BBC TV commentators have just laid out the route that whoever wins this would face from there on in.

    And, goodness, it's a doosie.

Cam Norrie in round four, Medvedev in the quarters and Alcaraz in the semis should seedings go to plan (which they won't, of course).

Meanwhile, Tsitsipas is up 15-30 on the Murray serve after a couple of good returns...

  20. Postpublished at 22:03 British Summer Time 6 July 2023

    *Murray 6-7 (3-7) 7-6 (7-2) 2-1 Tsitsipas

Normal service resumes, at least in terms of the Tsitsipas serve as he regains a level of composure and holds to 15.

An early break is all well and good - but what it means is that Murray has a long time to wait to try and serve out this third set.
