Play on Centre Court and Court One doesn't get underway until after 13:00 BST, but there's still plenty to get your teeth stuck into this morning.

Belgium's 28th seed Elise Mertens is currently in action on court three against Ukraine's Elina Svitolina, who knocked out five time champion Venus Williams.

Over on court 18, there's some British interest with Great Britain's Jan Choinski playing 17th seed Hubert Hurkacz of Poland.

On court three you can watch three-time major winner Stan Wawrinka take on Tomas Martin Etcheverry of Argentina, who is the number 29 seed.

French Open runner-up Karolina Muchova, seeded 16th, is up against Germany's Jule Niemeier on court 12.

On court 14 Italy's 14th seed Lorenzo Musetti is playing Jaume Munar of Spain.

Not sure what Hubert Hurkacz has been up to, but he left Britain's Jan Choinski waiting on court for a little while before the Pole finally arrived.

Maybe a last minute bit of physio, maybe a one last dash to the loo. Or maybe he got lost on the way in Wimbledon's newly-remodelled players' area close to Court 18.

But, maybe, making big Jan angry isn't the wisest move, Hubi.

While some players are yet to start their first-round matches after a rain-affected opening three days at Wimbledon, reigning champion Novak Djokovic is already safely through to round three.

Meeting him there will be the winner of the opener on Court Three as Argentina's Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the 29th seed, takes on three-time Grand Slam winner, 38-year-old Stan Wawrinka.

And it's clear who Djokovic wants next - the man who beat him in the finals of the 2015 French Open and the 2016 US Open.

Speaking after his win over Australia's Jordan Thompson yesterday, the Serb said: "I like Stan a lot. He's a great person. Really always inspirational what he's doing at his age.

"He's almost 40 years old and he still keeps going strong. That's something that not many people can do. We cannot forget he's a three-time Grand Slam champion and Davis Cup winner and also Olympic gold medallist. He has had a fantastic career.

"I hope we get to play against each other because we haven't faced in quite some time. It will be the duel of the veterans of the tour if it comes to that."

Wawrinka has had a number of surgeries on his knees, but has still got it and beat Andy Murray in a Challenger Tour event in Bordeaux in May - a tournament in which Etcheverry got to the final of before losing to France's Ugo Humbert.
