He's just pulled that kick wide of the post, but I think he's the best kicker in European rugby at the moment, possibly world rugby.

But they want to stuff Scarlets now and put them out of the game, they're not concerned with kicks from pens.

Let-off for Scarlets as they are pinged for off-side. The penalty is on the halfway line but in front of the posts, an area we're used to seeing Halfpenny slot them over but the Wales full-back misses for once.

Priestland is limping a bit though, a concern for Scarlets who really need their fly-half general on the field for the remaining half-hour.

Toulon full-back Leigh Halfpenny was gets a hot reception from Scarlets centre Steven Shingler on his return to Wales. Well, he is from the "other" side of the Loughor estuary.

That's more like it as Priestland releases his backs and Scarlets make 50m down the left wing. Good hands and straight running - lovely stuff.

We're back and running at Parc y Scarlets, let's see if the home side can cause Toulon a few more problems in the second half.

Quick sums done on the draw for the next round of the Champions Cup and if it stays like this Toulon will have home advantage - and will host Dai Young's Wasps in the quarter-finals.

Scarlets end the half with their best scrum of the match, holding Toulon's eight and then swarming over their backs in defence. A quick scuffle breaks out but the half-time whistle goes almost immediately - promise of tea and snacks sees the big men separate.

It's the most disappointing 45 minutes since I've been here. I'd have probably walked out myself if I'd been in the crowd in the 2nd half.

Great defence from Scarlets as they drive Toulon back from their line after Bastareaud made the initial charge, but Toulon still win a scrum in the Welsh 22.

Looks like the repair job on Tillous-Borde didn't hold and he's again left the field. Back comes human yo-yo Escande.

Considering that both Manchester City and Chelsea have been knocked out of the FA Cup by lower-tier opposition, Ramsey will want to make sure he has his shooting boots on tomorrow.

Escande is back on the pitch after a bit of work in the blood bin. Tillous-Borde mopes off to the bench until he's called upon again.

There's a few Scarlets players on their knees when there's a break in play, already feeling the pace of this game.

A great kick into the corner by Priestland gives Scarlets hope with an attacking line-out. This time the catch is good but the drive disintegrates and the home side are penalised for holding on.

DROP-GOAL

Toulon are intent on taking any chance to score and Nicolas Sanchez drops a goal to rub in their superiority.

Scrum-half Sebastien Tillous-Borde has left the field injured for the visitors, to be replaced by Eric Escande.

PENALTY FOR HALFPENNY

Leigh Halfpenny slots an easy kick from in front of the posts, the French now lead 13-0 after 20 mins.
