We've had a 40-year-old take gold after five years without an individual win, Canadian family success in the women's moguls, a Flying Dutchman defending his title with an Olympic record and a snowboarder forced to smash a whole in his bathroom door after becoming trapped inside. And it's only day one. I, for one, can't wait to see what happens on day two.

Thanks for your company. Until tomorrow, it's good night from me.
