So the Canadian trio of Mikael Kingsbury, Marc-Antoine Gagnon and Alex Bilodeau will be joined by Alexandr Smyshlyaev, Dmitriy Reiherd and Patrick Deneen in the final phase of the men's mogul's final.

Mikael Kingsbury makes it a Canadian 1-2-3 as the 20-year-old secures a score of 24.54 to go top of the pile. Just two to skiers to go.

We have a new leader in the men's moguls - Marc-Antoine Gagnon, who knocks his Canadian team-mate Alex Bilodeau off the top spot. Dmitriy Reiherd of Kazakhstan is third with four to go.

France's British-born Ben Cavet, who moved to France as his father is a ski instructor in Les Gets, won the national French championships in 2012 and 2013. The 20-year-old's run delights his coach, but it doesn't find as much favour with the judges and they put him fourth with five still to go.

It's a much tastier run for defending champion Alex Bilodeau, the Canadian nailing the landing on both jumps and saving a little wobble to go top of the charts with a score of 23.89.

It's time for the second phase, folks. Twelve skiers will go, only six will make it through to the final. Per Spett and his sensational beard are first to go, but it's a disappointing run and his chances of progressing to the medal final look slim.

That is it for the first phase of the moguls final. The bottom eight of the 20 finalists drop out, with Alexandr Smyshlyaev leading the way into the next round.

The BBC have found an innovative way of keeping all the crucial information secure and close at hand, with the BBC Sport shopping trolley.

Presenter Clare Balding says the Canadian television crew want to get something similar. Clare also says we can't get the hashtag #sochitrolley trending on Twitter, but she is already wrong - #sochitrolley is trending second in the United Kingdom.

Ben Cavet's stay at the top of the standings comes to an end as Kazakhstan's Dmitriy Reiherd and Canada's Philippe Marquis usurp him with aggressive runs down the hill.

We are more than halfway through the first phase of the final and Ben Cavet still leads. Remember, the medals are only decided by the third phase.

Pat Sharples, the British Free Ski team manager and head coach, has told 5 live Sport that slopestyle hopeful James "Woodsy" Woods is recovering after a crash in training, ahead of competing later in the week.

"I'll be totally honest with you guys now, he's taken a bad crash a couple of days ago in training, so he's not feeling 100%," said Sharples. "We didn't get to do much training with him today, but we've got amazing doctors and our physio, Ally Robb, she's amazing. We're doing everything we can to try and get him 100% for training in a couple of days and fingers crossed he's 100% for the competition."
