"Summerhayes, of Team GB, has absolutely ripped the lid off it!"
Katie Summerhayes makes all three of her landings and the BBC commentators are cock-a-hoop, and seem convinced the teenager has done enough to win a medal.
Katie Summerhayes has the difficult task of following Yuki Tsubota. The Briton needs a score of at least 77.00 to make it onto the podium.
Oh my word, a thunderclap of a thump as Yuki Tsubota falls heavily and it seems as if her head hit her knee as she tumbled downhill. Her competitors place their hands over their eyes after watching replays. A team of medics are on the snow and carry the Canadian off in a stretcher.

"We've constantly spoken about landing on the sweet spot here. It's the best place to land, where you feel the least impact and where you gather the most trajectory."
A thumbs up from Emma Dahlstrom as she patiently waits for the judges to make their, well, judgements. The marks appear, though, and the Swede winces. It's a 75.40 score which is only good enough for fourth. Five riders still to go.
Australia's Anna Segal, in bronze after her first run, starts well. Grinding (apparently), soaring high and twisting, but she misses a grab and, from then on, it all goes wrong and she's face first in the snow after an iffy sideways landing. A 28.80 score but, as it stands, she's still third thanks to her first run.
A slight wobble from Eveline Bhend on one landing but she holds firm and even manages to put in a 'misty 720' which sounds, and looks, impressive. The Swiss is awarded 63.20 for her efforts and improves on her first run score.
Silvia Bertagna loses a ski during her second run and it's a poor 21.80 mark for the Italian. It doesn't go to plan for Keri Herman, either, and she is awarded 50.00, although the American doesn't seem too concerned. "Whoo! Party time!" she says, which is what the Olympic spirit is all about.

"In hindsight clearly it wasn't the correct decision from Katie to go for it, but if you want to win gold in this competition you need to go big and land it. I'm just hoping Katie goes and tries to complete that same run - she has to do it again and stick it if she wants to get on the podium. She's got to do it now, try it again and, fingers crossed, it'll work."

"Katie has the luxury of going third last. She might be able to do her qualifying run and still get bronze, but I think she'll have to turn it up a bit."

Great Britain's snowboard slopestyler Aimee Fuller on Katie Summerhayes' crash in the first heat of the ski slopestyle final.
"All these riders are here to put down the best run they can and it's about showcasing themselves and the sport so they're all just sending it," she said.
"Anything could happen in the final run, so don't rule out Katie from the medals just yet!"
Jen Norris:, external Poor Katie Summerhayes. Safe run, first! Then go all out. Hope run two is better for her.
Ryan Clark:, external Superb try by Katie Summerhayes, just a shame about the ice conditions.
Matthew Vernon:, external Inexperience from Katie there. Her qualifying run would've put her top three after run one and set her up for a big run in run two.
A phenomenal 94.20 score for Dara Howell and that is enough to put the Canadian in gold-medal winning position. No-one will surely top that. Devin Logan currently second, with Australia's Anna Segal third. Katie Summerhayes in 10th spot after that 19.40 first run. All 12 riders have now completed their first runs.

"What Katie did is, before she did the switch 900 she went to put in a whole other 360. She hits the right part of the landing, the sweet spot, but she was in the back seat and she couldn't hold on. One ski came up. She's getting a big cheer from the crowd though... now she has it all to do. She's doing it the hard way."
Katie Summerhayes shuffles along the snow and unsurprisingly is awarded a low 19.40 which leaves her in ninth spot.
Katie Summerhayes gambling like a high roller at a Las Vegas casino, going for the switch and she pays the price and tumbles into the white stuff.
A big 900 from Yuki Tsubota!!! That's a 900 degree spin, of course. The Canadian supporters whooping and hollering. "Go Canada," shouts a supporter. The judges are making her wait... and it's a 71.60 score which is only good enough for fourth. Katie Summerhayes next!
Devin Logan has taken the lead after being awarded 85.40 for her first run and the American does a celebratory jig near the finish line.
Oof! Julia Krass is unable to control her landing and gravity does its job. It has a sort of whiplash effect as her back and head hit the snow, though she recovers like a coiled spring to carry on. The American fifth with a 42.40 score.
Australia's Anna Segal currently topping the leaderboard with 77.00. Two riders to go until Katie Summerhayes makes her first run.
