101.96 is the score. Added to yesterday's short program total, the British pair go third. That's actually down a place from the first routine.

They lie third now, but there's every chance that the remaining eight pairs will go above them.

Coomes and Buckland, for the first time in these Games, looks pretty disappointed.

It won't be as good as the Canadians, I don't think.

Every corner of the ice being used. Coomes spins into the final pose.

    Smiles and hugs.

Lovely stuff. What do the judges think?

Tight hold. Spin like a top. Pretty flawless so far.

"Your time is now," is the tune.

    Apt.

Coomes starts by arcing her back and balancing on the back of Buckland's left calf. Incredible.

The Canadian pair that went right before the Brits had a James Bond-inspired dance, complete with tuxedo and everything. It would have been more impressive had Paul Poirier switched to a scuba diving outfit halfway through. He and Piper Gilles, who were a point ahead of Coomes and Buckland, have gone top of the leaderboard.

It's a thumbs up from Rowan Cheshire after competing in the final.

"It's been amazing," she told me. "The crowd have been fabulous and I was so pleased to make the final."

While a lot has been written about her Sochi woes, not many know that she had an ankle injury which kept her off the snow until late last year.

"I've only been skiing since December, so there wasn't a lot of preparation time. I wanted to show what I'm capable of and I've done that."

Cassie Sharpe undoubtedly, emphatically takes the gold in the halfpipe final. A fantastic battle but a performance that proves to be head and shoulders above the rest.
