Jamaican bobsleigh pilot Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian speaking to BBC Two: "I am pretty proud of the runs today. They were consistent. I know there's things to improve - runs will never be consistent.

"We will analyse it and see where we can improve it tomorrow. I know there is a bigger picture out there.

"I am hoping to build upon it in the future. That's why barriers are there to be broken."

Runner Carrie Russell on recent changes with the coaching staff: "I have taught myself to separate myself from things that aren't my job. I am happy with what I have now.

"I was happy with what I had before so it doesn't really change much. I am just happy that we are performing here right now."

Mark: What likelihood of a mixed two-seat bob ever happening. From a armchair Olympic watcher, I can't see why this couldn't be an event?

Despite its title, the ‘four-man’ event has been open to women since 2014 and Kaillie Humphries piloted the first all-female quartet at a World Cup in 2016. Hampered by reduced weight, they came last but Humphries hope it will boost the chances of a four-woman event at the 2022 Games

"We're looking forward to carrying that into tomorrow. We stand by that we are powered by the people. We'd like to thank everybody who has donated to us. It has been incredible and overwhelming support.

"We are excited to read everybody's messages today and tomorrow night."

Runner Mica Moore: "We have done so well to get here. We just want to enjoy it and hopefully that will result in a good position.

"It was so much fun and I really, really enjoyed it. It was a pleasure to be out there with Mica [McNeill] - she is such a great pilot and I just loved it."

Mica McNeill is driving this track really well considering she has only had 10 runs on it. She has been getting that straight right.

She had a great load into the sled but she made a little mistake coming into 13 and that's where that bit of time went off.

Overall, what a great day for the team. Sixth is good!

  20. 'A mistake of huge amounts'published at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2018

    Ice Hockey: Slovenia 1-2 Norway

    Kent Simpson
    Commentator on BBC TV

Slovenia ice hockey player Ziga Jeglic accepted an anti-doping rule violation and was suspended from the Winter Olympics.

"This was a big blow - one of their best players was taken to the Court of Arbitration for Sport just moments before their match.

"Because this person might have asthma, all you have to do is disclose it. It sounds like it was a miss-communication.

"He [Jeglic] admitted guilt which leads you to believe he thought it was something he could take. It is incredible. It is a mistake of huge amounts.

"It was a tough day for the Slovenians in ice hockey after losing in extra-time too."
