Ah. Down. From maybe the fourth jump, Rowan Cheshire can't nail the landing and skids down the snow.

It will all be down to the third and final run for the GB skier.

    Women's halfpipe final

Team GB'S James Woods on BBC One: "It's a huge thing for Rowan to be coming into this final doing as well as she has been. She's deserved to be here for a very long time.

"Putting that first run down will eliminate all those nerves she had and she'll now be able to go back to the top of that run and put on a real performance for us all.

"It's so important for the person up there to be confident and happy - not thinking about all the pressure that comes with it."

    Women’s halfpipe final

    Anna Thompson
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

It’s packed in the standing area at the bottom of the course but unlike slopestyle - where you can only see the jumps - you can see all of the impressive halfpipe - which is the longest ever at a Winter Olympics at more than 200m.

The crowd are very animated with ‘oohs and aahs’ and groans when the defending champion Maddie Bowman failed to land her last trick.

But there are huge cheers when France’s Martine Martinod goes into the lead after the first run.

But then Cassie Sharpe comes up with a 94.40 - that’s going to take some beating!

    Women's halfpipe final

Rowan Cheshire has seen herself slip to sixth after the first run of the women's halfpipe final. In the sunshine, Canada's Cassie Sharpe, who qualified in first place, went out last and opened up a 2.20-point lead at the top.

    Great Britain 10-3 Norway

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

Norway prolonged their own agony with the extra end there.

That has been Britain's best performance of the games so far, not just in terms of the score but in the manner of their performance. Great Britain walk off the ice a very, very happy team indeed.

    Great Britain 10-3 Norway

We thought it might not last much longer and Great Britain have wrapped up a big - in every sense of the word - victory over Norway. From the first end, when GB took three points, Kyle Smith's men have been in total control. Norway call time after only seven ends and GB move a step closer to the semi-finals.

Obviously the big crowd favourites here are South Korean pair Yura Min and Alexander Gamelin. The audience are trying to clap along to a ballad, which isn’t really working, but everyone is star struck by them.

They were placed 16th in the short dance yesterday and their points total to beat today is 89.28.

    Women's halfpipe final

If you know little about Rowan Cheshire, her route to this final has been a bumpy one. Four years ago in Sochi, she suffered a concussion, beginning a downward spiral into an anxiety that left her unable to leave the house. She contemplated quitting the sport and has perhaps already fulfilled her ambition for these Games by reaching the final.

This is really surprising, I've never seen this Norwegian team play this poorly to be honest.

Meanwhile, Great Britain have stretched their lead and are dishing out a shellacking to Norway. In theory, they are in the seventh of 10 ends, but this one might not get that far.

A great first run, she's definitely got the most amplitude that we've seen so far and she also has a nine in there so she's definitely upped the difficulty.

Rowan Cheshire scores a 75.40, good enough for second in this nascent competition. She's likely to need more to contend for a medal, but she does look like she has extra in the tank.
