Women's curling final: Sweden 3-1 South Korea (after end four)

Kim's poker face gives away a clue as she tries to skittle both Swedish stones and land a two. The little lip bite tells me she doesn't like it.

Oh dear, and rightly so. Her final stone clunks into her own guard and Sweden steal.

South Korea have the hammer so Hasselborg has the chance to put some pressure on Kim.

And that she does. Hasselborg pats one around the Korean guard and bang on the money. Excellent shot.

Now what's Kim got up her sleeve? She's going for the crowd-pleaser that Logan mentions...

It would be really good for the Koreans if they could get a couple of good shots in and get the crowd going. They need to get them excited and get them on their side.

The crowd don't seem quite as involved compared to their semi-final. It was deafening when they defeated Japan yesterday.

We've not had an end yet where there are plenty of stones in play.

South Korea lump down a guard, placing it next to a Swedish stone at the front, Swedish skip Anna Hasselborg swerving around them to land at the back of the house.

Her counterpart Kim Eun-jung follows the same line, her stone coming to rest at the edge of the centre of the house.

    Down to the final stones...

Still a few empty seats in the Gangneung Curling Centre as the stragglers continue to saunter up. I hope they've got a good excuse.

To be fair, they haven't actually missed a great deal.

Sweden's Agnes Knochenhauer gives the house a spring clean halfway through this fourth end, leaving it cold and empty.

    Men's four-man bobsleigh heat three

Francesco Friedrich must be feeling very happy wherever he has disappeared to to watch this third bobsleigh run.

The other main medal contenders have all finished their runs and no one can get close to the first German sled.

Friedrich's crew remain the fastest in this run and that means he has an overall lead of over four tenths ahead of the rest of the field.

Friedrich already has one gold from the two-man bobsleigh. He has a hand on another.

The South Korean team remain second, 0.07 secs ahead of the second German sled.

You can't fault that shot, but if you're given nice easy opportunities to get a two it's going to help to settle you down.

Sweden have the lead after three.

South Korean skip Kim Eun-jung has become one of the faces of this Games, instantly recognisable with her hipster glasses and steely stare.

And, of course, her unnerving accuracy with stone in hand. She's an assassin.

Kim knocks Sweden's red stone out of the house with her penultimate stone, but then lags her final effort a touch short.

Sweden have the hammer... a good chance here to get on the board. It's a simple shot for Anna Hasselborg who arcs her final stone around a Korean guard and into the living room of the house.

The surprising thing for me about the European teams who have played in the semi-finals onwards is that while they are more confident and experienced, they're happy to let their opponents play simple shots.

I would be inclined to put them in a more uncomfortable position to force them to make errors early on.

    Men's four-man bobsleigh

A solid start from the German four-man bob crew, piloted by Francesco Friedrich.

They led by a very healthy 0.29 seconds from the first day so go first in the third run today and rocket down in 48.76 seconds, their second best time so far.

How can the second-placed South Korean team respond?

    ... Not too well.

They only manage a 48.89 and the Germans' lead grows.

Swedish skip Anna Hasselborg grins after knocking out South Korea's lonely stone out of the middle of the house.

Pressure? What pressure? She looks very relaxed. That's despite the weight of expectation on the team's shoulders. It's down to them to deliver a curling gold after the men lost to the United States yesterday.

Hasselborg's final stone is pretty straightforward... clunking into the Korean stone, knocking that out and taking hers with it.

    A cagey start.

    Men's four-man bobsleigh

Britain's hopes of making an impact in one of the most highly anticipated events of the Games ended early with both crews struggling in Saturday's first two runs.

They will begin Sunday's third of four runs in 17th and 18th place respectively, both over 1.3 seconds adrift of the leader and at least four tenths outside a top-10 place.

The German crew, piloted by Francesco Friedrich, carry a lead of almost three tenths of a second over South Korea into run three. Another German crew lie third with Canada in fourth.

Korea have got the only women's academy for curling, so there's been a lot of training put in for these girls.

I've been really impressed with them this week. They play a really nice way and their sweeping technique has been second to none.

They're holding a lot of stones that I thought they would lose - it's really impressive what they've been doing.

A smattering of Sweden yellow and blue is dotted around the Gangneung Curling Centre, but unsurprisingly they are vastly outnumbered by the home fans. Expect a partisan atmosphere.

The Korean fans get an early chance to stretch their vocal cords, a huge cheer greeting a one for Kim Eun-jung and her rink in the opening end.
