Canada can not keep allowing Switzerland to dominate these ends.

They are trying to move things around and they're getting a much better result this time.

Repeating her seventh-place finish in Pyeongchang - which she also achieved at Sochi 2014 - was impressive given Katie Summerhayes suffered ankle ligament damage in December.

However, the slopestyle skier is still frustrated with the situation a week after the event.

“I’m still so gutted because I worked so hard for a medal after Sochi, I was determined but it obviously wasn’t meant to be again,” she tells me.

“I’m still not feeling good, my body feels a bit like it’s been hit by a bus.

“I still want to get medals so bad and although it feels so far away right now I’m going to keep going because I love skiing so much.”

That's a poor shot from Kevin Koe, a bit of a loss of concentration.

He just doesn't miss shots - I don't know what has happened in the last couple of games.

To lose back-to-back steals is crazy for Canada.

Benoit Schwarz sticks his penultimate stone into the house, boshing a Canadian stone out of the way in the process. That leaves two Swiss stones patrolling the area, spread nicely apart to leave Canada in a spot of bother.

Canada skip Kevin Koe takes out the wide one, trying to cannon that onto the second. Nope, no dice.

The Swiss set up a similar stall with their final stone, this time Koe isn't going to be able to attempt to take out both of them.

In fact, he nearly completely fluffs his lines. He manages to nudge the second Swiss stone on the outer ring, limiting the damage to just one.

Canadian fans are everywhere you look in Pyeongchang. Must be a fortnight's national holiday over there.

Despite their vociferous backing, their team is struggling. Switzerland are controlling the third end as they look to extend their lead, Claudio Paetz grabbing a pair of Canadian stones and dragging them out of the house.

Switzerland have really dictated the first two ends which will be a big concern for the Canadians.

It's unthinkable for Canada not to win a medal. They pride themselves on growing up on the ice and the snow. They bank on being on top of the podium, particularly after their success in Sochi.

Switzerland finisher Benoit Schwarz lands his final stone on the four-foot stone, leaving Canada counterpart Kevin Koe with a tricky shot to avoid the steal.

He's got to bend his final stone round from right to left as he looks down the sheet... nice line... but has it got the length?

It's trying to get there... but it's short. The Swiss steal.

Teams like Sweden have set the pace for the rest of the world.

They go to Canada for weeks and months, to train and learn from the best.

They have such a big talent pool, but I don't think it will be long until the rest of the world catches up.

This Games has been a reality check for Canada's male curlers.

Since the sport was reintroduced to the Olympic programme in 1998, they have done no worse than finish second - and have won gold at the last three Games. Until now.

Their grip on the sport was loosened when they lost 5-3 to the United States in their semi-final yesterday.

Switzerland are capable of beating Canada. They beat them in the round robin. It was difficult for Switzerland yesterday against Sweden but they will give Canada a big match.

They have got a really good team who have been playing well all season. For them to win a bronze medal would be a massive result. All of the pressure is on Canada.
