Can Lena Duerr maintain the speed through this second run?
She's missed the medals.
Petra Vlhova is the Olympic slalom champion. Dreams do come true.
Her quest to become the first even Slovakian Olympic champion has come good.
Women's slalom
Germany's Lena Duerr, fastest in the first run, had a lead of 0.72 seconds over Petra Vlhova at the top and then stretches that lead to 0.78 seconds.
But right at the end Duerr makes an error and it not just costs her gold, it costs her a medal of any colour.
Vlhova of Slovakia takes the gold medal.
Katharina Liensberger of Austria is second, Wendy Holdener of Switzerland third and Duerr left in floods of tears as she's fourth.
Vlhova is now up to silver after Michelle Gisin of Switzerland sees her medal hopes vanish.
Only Germany's Lena Duerr can deny Petra Vlhova now.

Oh No! She's blown it.
No golden double Sara Hector, who was absolutely steaming down the course.
Petra Vlhova can finish no lower than silver, with one to come.
Women's slalom
Sara Hector won the giant slalom earlier this week and she was up on leader Petra Vlhova, but Hector then makes a mess of it and she doesn't finish.
Vlhova is now guaranteed at least a bronze. But maybe silver, maybe gold.
Women's slalom
Four to go in the women's slalom. Slovakia's Petra Vlhova leads, watches, waits and hopes.
This is how Shaun White took himself into the final of the men's snowboard halfpipe event.

Switzerland's Camille Rast was in gold-medal position in the women's slalom, but she's done all she can, and now has to just wait.
The eight fastest from the first runs are still to go.
And Rast instantly gets bumped down to second by Slovakia's Petra Vlhova.
Now seven to go.

Here’s Charlie Guest making it over the line. She lost a bit of time towards the end there - you could hear the change in sound of a smooth run to a scrapy-skiddy sound just on the approach to the finish.
That will have cost her a few places unfortunately.

Shaun White took another bite at that backside 1260
He can defy the odds spectacularly.
He knows how close he was there but the muscle memory kicks in when the pressure is on.
Men's snowboard halfpipe qualification
It's straight over to the men's snowboard halfpipe qualification and all eyes on American legend Shaun White.
He was in trouble of missing out on the final after falling on his first run, but not now. A superb second run of 86.25 catapults him up to fourth and safely through.
He's 35 and the three-time gold medallist has already said this will be his last Games. He could still end it with another medal around his neck on Friday.

Charlie Guest has a huge sense of confidence and self-belief this season.
That was so good until that one mistake.
She did brilliantly to recover - her ski tips were crossed - but that's her chance gone and she will not trouble the medal positions.
She was heading towards the green light until her skis got jammed.
Women's slalom
The 28-year-old British number one Charlie Guest was doing so well, but just loses her balance and that slows her down, although she does superbly to recover and finish.
She's in eighth, but all the 14 that were faster than her in the first run are still to come.
There will be no medal, but likely to be an improvement on her finish of 33rd in this event four years ago.

"Come on Charlie, let's go," screams Charlie Guest's coach and her she goes for run number two.

We’re gearing up for Charlie Guest’s second run.
They’re still letting fans into the seats - they get a flag-waving welcome when they get off the gondola up here.
