    Women's slalom

Britain's Alex Tilley will soon be going in the slalom and she failed to finish in both this event and the giant slalom four years ago.

But she's already bettered that effort this time around as she came 22nd in the giant slalom earlier this week. It was a great effort after she suffered a fractured fibula in November that put her out of competition for two months.

After the giant slalom, she wrote on Instagram: "22nd in yesterday's Olympic GS. At the beginning of the season, I’d have been disappointed… now I’m just grateful to be here.

"I enjoyed racing yesterday and I gave it what I had, I wish that could be more just now, but it’ll take time. Thanks for the support. Slalom tomorrow!"

Remember - three runs, with two runs to count.

The two counted scores can't have elements in the same direction - you have to spin both ways.

You can ski with poles or without, but if you do ski with poles you have to finish with them in both hands.

Our BBC One coverage has moved on from the sheer pace of the women's slalom to the incredible skill, technique, flair and showboating of some freestyle skiing, with the men's freeski big air final.

Just like the women's final yesterday, won by China's Eileen Gu with British teenager Kirsty Muir coming fifth, everyone gets three runs, with their best two scores added together and the third discarded. Whoever has the highest total is the Olympic champion.
