Figure skating - men’s free skate

    Sonia Oxley
    BBC Sport in Beijing

We’ve had seven skaters performing so far in the men’s free skate with Azerbaijan’s Vladimir Litvitsev currently leading the way.

Russian Olympic Committee’s Andrei Mozalev has in fact posted the highest score in the free skate of 156.28 but mistakes in his short programme on Tuesday have affected his overall score.

But we’re only on the second of the five groups and the medals are likely to come from the last two.

    She's Olympic champion. Again.

  7. 'Every game is tough'published at 02:48 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 4-2 Switzerland (after seven ends)

    Rhona Howie
Olympic gold medallist curler on BBC TV

Every game is tough at an Olympic Games.

For a lot of these teams they haven’t had the preparation they would hope for coming into the Games because of the lack of international competition because of the pandemic.

    Women's halfpipe final

    Katie Falkingham
    BBC Sport in Zhangjiakou

Neither Cai Xuetong or Mitsuki Ono can get anywhere near Chloe Kim's score, and so she is crowned Olympic champion before her final run.

Let's see what she can do anyway. 1260 time?

  9. 'A tough start in anyone's book'published at 02:45 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 4-2 Switzerland (after seven ends)

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

A very good position for Great Britain after seven ends against the world champions in Switzerland.

We can’t forget this is Britain playing the world champions and then they play the Olympic champions tonight.

A tough start in anyone’s book.

    Women's halfpipe final

    Katie Falkingham
    BBC Sport in Zhangjiakou

Spain's Queralt Castellet, second behind Chloe Kim, scores 78.25 on her final run and so silver is the best she can achieve.

China's Cai Xuetong and Japan's Mitsuki Ono to come before Kim's last run, can they upset the apple cart?

Curling - Great Britain 4-2 Switzerland

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Scotland in Beijing

Oops, that take out from Alina Paetz slides by, and GB have one.

Switzerland retain the hammer of course, but I think Paetz was going for the blank there rather than gifting one to GB...

  12. Britain extend leadpublished at 02:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 4-2 Switzerland (after seven of 10 ends)

Switzerland are trying to get rid of one British stone to retain the hammer, but it is a mistake from Alina Paetz as her stone just gets a glancing blow on the red British one, instead of a full contact, and instead of it being a blank end, Britain hold one shot and move 4-2 ahead.

Whatever happens from here, this has been a great performance from the British quartet against the world champions.

Curling - Great Britain 3-2 Switzerland (after six ends)

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

Very well played by Great Britain. Again Alina Patz, who played the last stone for Switzerland, set things up for Eve Muirhead.

But you still have to deliver and it was two very nice draws from Eve.

  15. Grotheer leads after first runpublished at 02:30 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

    Men's skeleton

    Anna Thompson
    BBC Sport in Beijing

Britain's Marcus Wyatt has laid down his first run and is 1.56 seconds back.

The first heat is complete and Germany's double world champion Christopher Grotheer - who stopped the clock dead on one minute - has a healthy 0.36 seconds lead over Russian Olympic Committee's Alexander Tretiakov, with China's Yan Wengang third 0.43 seconds back.

The Brits are down in 14th and 16th place and more than a second adrift. They have work to do to move up the rankings.

The second heat is at 0300 GMT.

Curling - Great Britain 3-2 Switzerland (after six of 10 ends)

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Scotland in Beijing

A missed take out by Alina Paetz of Switzerland. Big chance for a GB two...Eve Muirhead keeps her cool to draw in and go 3-2 up.

The pressure has been building for Britain and they finally forced that key mistake.

  17. GB into the leadpublished at 02:30 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2022

Curling - Great Britain 3-2 Switzerland (after six of 10 ends)

Eve Muirhead wanted to retain the hammer in the fifth end and was happy at doing so.

We then see why in the next end as Britain score two, when they had been facing falling behind.

Superb accuracy and calmness under pressure from the British skip and Britain move from 2-1 down to 3-2 up with four ends to go.

    Women's halfpipe final

    Katie Falkingham
    BBC Sport in Zhangjiakou

A fall for Chloe Kim on her second run as she attempted a 1260! She puts her hands to her head in frustration, but let's be honest, she's still miles ahead of the pack.

She slides her way over to Eileen Gu and gives her a big hug, before heading to the lifts up for her fifth and final run.

Curling - Great Britain 1-2 Switzerland (after five ends)

Switzerland have four stones in the house, but Eve Muirhead still has two left so will be looking to change things around.

"Line's good" she shouts and Muirhead gets her red stone into shot position. One stone left for both nations in the sixth end.
