You'll see in this opening end that Switzerland and GB are just knocking each others' stones out here as they try and jostle for position in the house.
It's different to mixed doubles - where you can't remove those two initial stones that are placed until after the fourth rock has been played.
In the team event, no stones are pre-placed.
Curling: Great Britain 0-0 Switzerland
The team events are played over 10 ends and the British quartet has Eve Muirhead at skip and she is joined by Vicky Wright, Jennifer Dodds and Hailey Duff.
While for Switzerland, Silvana Tirinzoni is their leader, with Alina Paetz, Esther Neuenschwander and Melanie Barbezat.
Dodds was part of the mixed doubles pair, along with Bruce Mouat, that got to the semi-finals, but were then beaten and then lost in the bronze-medal match.

So, mixed doubles is done and dusted, time for the team events.
'How's it different?' I hear you ask. Well there are four players on each team, both playing two stones each.
And there are two extra ends. It means more stones, longer games, and more intense strategic battles.
You're going to need good stamina for this one. Switzerland are the world champions, so Eve Muirhead's GB rink are in for a tough start.

There's not much Eve Muirhead hasn't experienced in curling as she prepares to compete at her fourth Olympics.
Some things are different from the previous three, though. A new hip, a fresh team, and a different environment in the Covid-restricted bubble of Beijing.
The last four years have been a test for the 31-year-old Scot who, after narrowly missing out on a medal in Pyeongchang four years ago, finally had surgery on her ailing hip.
She then battled back to fitness in her garage during lockdown but struggled for consistency, eventually securing Team GB their Olympic spot at the last minute, after leading her rink through a tense qualifier.
Now it's time to tackle some unfinished business.
"The one medal I am missing is the Olympic gold," Muirhead says. "It's a dream of mine to get that medal. I know it's going to be tough, but I know we are capable of doing it."
Dame Katherine Grainger referenced the British women's curling team - and they start off their campaign very soon...
UK Sport chair Dame Katherine Grainger says she is "not panicking yet" as Team GB remain without a medal after five days of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Britain suffered more disappointment on day five as world champion Charlotte Bankes went out of the women's snowboard cross in the quarter-finals.
That came after Great Britain's curling mixed doubles pair Jen Dodds and Bruce Mouat missed out on a medal on Tuesday.
"I think we'll still see Team GB deliver," said Grainger.
"We still have high hopes for the men's and women's curling teams, we've got the skeleton still to come, plenty more on the snow.
"I was out in Pyeongchang [in 2018] and it was day seven before we saw a medal, so we're not panicking yet."
That means that after five full days of action, you won't see the name Great Britain in the medal table.
Women's snowboard cross
But while there were celebrations for Lindsey Jacobellis, it was disappointment for Team GB's snowboard cross world champion Charlotte Bankes as she suffered an unexpected quarter-final exit at the Beijing Olympics.
Women's snowboard cross
What a story this was yesterday.
American Lindsey Jacobellis finally won gold in the women's snowboard cross at the age of 36 - 16 years after blowing her chance of gold at Turin 2006 when she was leading, celebrated too early, fell over and ended up silver.

What a day at the Winter Olympics we had yesterday.
There was one of the stories of the Games as Lindsey Jacobellis finally won snowboard cross gold - 16 years after she had thrown away a glorious chance to do so in 2006...
...but there was heartbreak for others, including two-time Olympic champion Mikaela Shiffrin who was left distraught as she failed to complete the slalom course - the second time she had not finished a race at these Games.
It's on to day six and what great stories will unfold today?
