  1. France, Norway & Sweden fight backpublished at 08:42 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    Men's 4x10km relay

Could an unlikely comeback be on?!

France, Norway and Sweden are really going for this and reduce the gap by around 16 seconds between 31 and 32km.

The ROC's Sergey Ustiugov still has a sizeable advantage of more than 40 seconds, but that will offer real encouragement to those behind him.

The lead is holding steady at around 42 seconds after 34km.

Women's curling: Great Britain 7-2 Denmark

    Rhona Howie
Olympic gold medallist curler on BBC TV

A really good solid performance from Great Britain, they kept it fairly simple and were in control after the first end.

They move up to a really important place in the table now, a happy looking team.

Denmark didn't really try and take them on at all, it was a really open game and the ice straightened up a bit as well so that was in our favour when you are trying to defend the lead.

It puts them right back in the mix.

That's two wins from two from Great Britain's curling team today.

The men are back later at 12:05 GMT.

  4. ROC extend relay advantagepublished at 08:35 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    Men's 4x10km relay

After 30km, the gap was 44.9 seconds between the leading Russian Olympic Committee team and Norway, who alongside Sweden and France are hoping to pull off a remarkable comeback.

But one kilometre into the fourth and final leg, the ROC's Sergey Ustiugov has extended that advantage to almost one minute. Has he gone off too fast?

It could soon create a real dilemma for the chasing pack, who are going to have to decide whether to keep digging deep in the hope of snatching gold - or trying to conserve energy in the fight for silver.

They've decided, enough is enough and it's another win for Great Britain.

Exactly what they needed, after a very good performance against USA they've followed it up with a strong performance against Denmark.

They were always in front, Denmark did not make it easy.

    Sweden v Finland warm-up

The Scandinavian powerhouses of Sweden and Finland clash in a mouth-watering group C match at the National Indoor Stadium in Beijing.

They have both won their opening two matches so the winner of this one will automatically qualify for the quarter-finals. The loser will go into the play-offs, unless they are classed as the best placed runner-up of the three groups.

Sweden have been Olympic champions twice - in 1994 and 2006 - but came into these Games ranked seventh in the world after a poor 2021 World Championships.

Finland have never won an Olympics gold medal but they have won two silver medals and four bronzes and are ranked second in the world.

They’re currently going through their final warm-ups. Shooting practice was a sight to behold.

Dance tunes are being pumped out.

It's all for grabs. We face off at 0840 GMT.

  11. ROC in control of cross-country relaypublished at 08:25 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    Men's 4x10km relay

Norway, Sweden and France are giving it everything they've got to hunt down the Russian Olympic Committee as the snow continues to fall in the men's 4x10km relay.

The ROC have a commanding 50-second lead as we approach the end of the third leg and it's going to take an almighty effort if the chasing trio are to bring the gold medal back into view.

Even if they don't manage that, it's shaping up to be a real scrap for the remaining two medals.

I've covered six Winter Olympics for BBC Sport - stretching all the way back to Salt Lake City in 2002.

But I've never seen a live ice hockey game at any of them. This is mainly down to the fact Great Britain have not played in the Olympics since 1948, so my focus has been elsewhere.

My credentials for covering it here? Well, I used to skate in a pair of ice hockey boots and was a fan of Blackpool Seagulls in their mid-80s heyday at Blackpool Pleasure Beach Ice Rink! That's enough, isn't it?!

The rare snowfall in Beijing is being put to good use and at the venue we’ve got our very own snow hockey player - complete with helmet!

Denmark will have the hammer in the ninth, the plan will be to hold them to one.

It's still a very tight match, Denmark still have an opportunity to turn this around, they've been chasing the game all the way through but it's Britain still in charge.

The end finishes with Eve Muirhead having a shot for two but it doesn't quite work out, nudging her own yellow stone rather than sliding into the house.

As a result it's only one from the end.
