    Nicola Minichiello
Three-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

Those little mistakes from Brad Hall were just bleeding away the time. He was seven hundredths of a second behind going into this run and now he's four tenths.

Brad's not out of contention but he's got to be perfect tomorrow, he's got to be able to put those runs together.

German pair Friedrich and Lochner appear to be locked in a two-way battle for gold, with just 0.15 seconds separating the pair and a gap of 0.79 to Russian pilot Rostislav Gaitiukevich.

He's 0.42 seconds ahead of Brad Hall in 11th, which looks difficult for the Briton to overhaul in tomorrow's final two runs.

  8. GB's Hall 'frustrated' after mistakespublished at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2022

    Two-man bobsleigh

British bobsleigh pilot Brad Hall, speaking to BBC Sport about his performance in the first two runs: "Its quite frustrating. We wanted to be a few places higher than where we are now.

"But we made a couple of mistakes in the middle of the track on both runs which left us without speed at the bottom.

"Unfortunately we're not higher up but we don't deserve to be at the moment. We will look back at see where we went wrong and make the corrections for tomorrow."

Jamaica's team bring the second run of the two-man bobsleigh to a close.

Many of the teams were slightly slower on run two, including Britain's Brad Hall.

A combined time of one minute 59.74 seconds leaves the British pair - pilot Hall and Nick Gleeson - in 11th place.

Germany's Francisco Friedrich - the dominant man in the sport - leads on one minute 58.38 seconds, ahead of compatriot Johannes Lochner.

  10. curling

    Women's curling - Great Britain 3-7 Canada

It's a good attempt from Eve Muirhead - but it's not quite good enough.

Canada take the single in the final end to seal a 7-3 win and move level with GB on a 3-3 record after six matches.

Jennifer Jones decides to play it safe, dropping a high guard, and now Muirhead needs to produce a quite stunning final shot here...

Three stones left for GB. It's got to be perfect from here.

But Vicky Wright's next attempt falls between Canada's two yellows, leaving the door open for Jennifer Jones to clear it out.

Of course, she does just that.

Gone in (just over) 60 seconds. Great Britain's medal chances in the two-man bobsleigh, that is.

    Women's curling - Great Britain 3-6 Canada

Eve Muirhead leaves GB's final stone on the button, though it does travel slightly further than she would have liked.

A final chance for Jennifer Jones to deny GB here... and it's perfect. A single for Canada to make it 6-3 heading into the final end.

Yet again, it was looking very promising for GB, but they need a huge finish now.

  18. curling

It's a really clean run from the British pair, it's just trying to work out where the speed is going from corner 12 down as it's all being lost in that last split.
