    Women's curling

It's not to be for GB! China take the win on home ice and that makes GB's hopes of progressing very slim, with their final match against the Russian Olympic Committee to come.

An awful lot needs to go Eve Muirhead's way here as she plays the final stone. She has to just catch this right.

There's still a way to go in the first run of the men's slalom with 88 starters, including representatives from India, Pakistan, Haiti, Madagascar and Monaco.

There's a smattering of a crowd who have made their way to Yanqing and their spirits are lifted by the appearance of the official Beijing Olympic mascot.

I cannot emphasise enough how popular this little panda is.

You cannot got a replica teddy anywhere and huge queues form at the official merchandise stores - including where we work at the International Broadcast Centre - when word gets around of potential new stock arriving.

And I've been waiting all Games to meet Bing Dwen Dwen - so my day is made too!

    Four-man bobsleigh

Great Britain have just been in the second heat of the four-man bobsleigh at the Yanqing National Sliding Centre, with Brad Hall leading them home in 1.00.23, which is currently good enough to place them 18th.

They were followed by Jamaica, who sit 24th from 24 competitors at the moment.

Not the game GB wanted at all, it's slipped away from them. It's gradually been going in that direction since the half-way point and now somehow from somewhere they need to find three shots in the final end, in a match where they have been unable to score more than one on any occasion.

You have to say that China have been exceptional in this match.

    Thomas Duncan

Mission impossible now for Eve Muirhead and her team.

They've just given up three in the penultimate end as Wang Rui played a lovely chip out to leave three of her reds nestled in the house with no yellow in sight.

GB have the hammer, but they need three to force an extra end. Their play-off hopes are slipping away.

    Men's ski slopestyle

American Colby Stevenson has been speaking after the men's ski slopestyle final, where he finished seventh: "Obviously, I’m not going to leave anything on the table. I switched up my rail line, was going with something I felt really confident about and just wasn’t able to get it perfectly.

“I’m really happy with my skiing but, in the end, my buddy Alex Hall, Nick Goepper and Jesper Tjader in third - like what an event, man.”

On his recovery from a car crash in 2016 that left him in a coma: “Just making the Olympic team was such an honour after everything I’ve been through with the car crash. It just seemed like stars had to align, and they definitely did.

"I am so happy to show my stuff on the world stage and ski the way that I did. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted today, but that’s how it goes, man, when you’re laying it all on the line. Give it your best and make sure to have fun. You don’t want to get too upset if you don’t do well. We’re living it.”

    Steve Cram

Your whole Olympic tournament hinging on an inch or two here or there - that was so close for Eve Muirhead. The game stats favour China at the moment but the game is completely tied up.

Great Britain know what they have to do.

That's really unlucky for Eve Muirhead. She has a tough take out to try to score two and re-take the lead.

It's well executed as she hits the right spot and dislodges the two reds, but unfortunately her yellow stone just spins too far from the button and it'll just be one.

It's all square with two ends left.

Not to be for Billy Major on his Olympic debut. He’s almost made it to the bottom but DNFs (did not finish) so there will be no second run for the Brit.

It’s rather pleasant in the sunshine but when that wind blows you can certainly feel it!

Billy Major made a sensational start, but what a shame. Within 10 turns of the finish he straddled and exits the Olympic slalom.

That was all going so well but he started losing ground.

    Andri Ragettli is absolutely livid!

What an odd final - riddled with inconsistencies. But when you take a step back Alexander Hall does have the loosest, best style and he's the man that everybody looks up to - he does have some of the biggest tricks and he's come out here and cleaned up.
