Both men still stand in front of each other looking to land significant strikes but you get the feeling Jones is more in control now but Oki is capable of ending this fight at any moment as he tries a back spinning elbow.

How on earth did Jones survive those opening exchanges?!

Jones looks to lock in the armbar but Oki shows tremendous strength to resist it. That is incredible defence.

Oki used a lot of energy trying to finish him there.

What a warrior Jones is as he somehow survives the numerous punches being thrown down at his head. He looked like he was done there but Oki continues to connect with huge power.

Luckily for us, both fighters favour a striking style meaning this bout could provide fireworks for the Parisian crowd.

"This is going to be a fast paced explosive fight, with neither of us wanting to go backwards," Mason Jones said.

Axel Sola spoke to Michael Bisping after his victory against Rhys McKee: "I am just really happy, it is such an honour to be able make my debut on such an amazing card in Paris.

"I was suprised because he was really resilient - I was putting my all in and he wasn't really stopping."

On the winning body shot: "I have got various tools when an opponent comes at me, I have tried them all in this fight. I tried something else and it worked."

Mason Jones couldn't come into tonight's fight in much better form if we're being honest.

Mason Jones has ambitions. Big ambitions.

He wants to be the first Welshman to headline a UFC card and a statement win here may push him on his way towards his dream.

"My goal is to be the first Welsh fighter to headline a card," said Jones. "That is my next goal, I think I'm about two fights away from it.

"Get a good finish here, another good one before the end of the year and I think I'm in a good place where I can headline a card. I don't care if it's the Apex [in Las Vegas] or anywhere, I'm interested in headlining a card."

You can see the anguish on Rhys McKee's face following that defeat.

It can be a game of fine margins and McKee has been on the wrong side of a couple during his UFC career, but that is now five defeats in six fights in the promotion.

Where does he go from here?

From our angle, you could see that McKee was still defending and still in the fight.

I have no problem with the stoppage, but I do feel for McKee.

A word for Axel Sola, though. That was his UFC debut and he stepped in at short notice to take this fight.

He's going to be a real problem for the welterweight division.
