We're into the final three minutes of the final round and this one is firmly in the balance as Ruchala recovers after a bad poke in the eye.

I think we'll be going to the scorecards here.

  2. 'This will be a Rhys McKee performance'published at 20:31 British Summer Time 6 September

    Sola v McKee

Rhys McKee steps in with a Frenchman undefeated in 11 professional contests but is yet to fight at this level and the Ballymena man feels his experience will be a key factor.

"I know what it's like to come in here as a debutant and what it's like to be short notice," said McKee.

"I've been the guy who has stepped up and flown around the world on six days' notice.

"I've a test but this will be a Rhys McKee performance coming up and whoever is in front of me in the UFC would go the same way."

  4. From Cage Warriors to UFCpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 6 September

Cage Warriors is Europe’s longest running MMA promotion and has long been a stepping stone into the UFC.

Harry Hardwick was the latest to make the switch. Next up is Luke Riley, who signed with the UFC last month.

He and Hardwick follow a long line of Cage Warrior stars into the UFC...

    • Paddy Pimblett fought 14 times in Cage Warriors, going 11-3 and even captured and defended the featherweight title in 2016
    • Molly McCann may be retired but Cage Warriors is where it all started - she went 3-0 before knocking out Bryony Tyrell to win the inaugural Cage Warriors flyweight belt
    • More notable names are Ian Machado Garry, heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, historymaker Michael Bisping, UFC legend Joanna Jedrzejczyk and current lightweight champion Ilia Topuria

    Fernandes beats Hardwick by TKO

It's a very painful UFC debut for England's Harry Hardwick, who was wheeled out of the octagon in a wheelchair after some vicious leg kicks from Brazil's Kaue Fernandes.

With visible swelling appearing on his calves, Hardwick could barely move and Fernandes claimed the TKO win.

That'll be sore in the morning!

    Hughes beats Bannon by submission

It's heartbreak for Ireland's Shauna Bannon in the first fight of the night in Paris as she was submitted in the second round by American Sam Hughes.

She remains tied with Aisling Daly for the most UFC wins (2) acquired by an Irishwoman.

Her overall UFC record is now 2-2.

  11. Paris crowd is like no otherpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 6 September

    Paul Battison
    BBC Sport MMA journalist

You can expect vociferous support from the Paris crowd tonight for all of the French fighters in action.

It did not surprise me when Tom Aspinall was drowned out by boos yesterday at a news conference as the fans showed their support for home fighter Ciryl Gane.

I've been at the Accor Arena for Bellator in 2023 and the atmosphere is like nothing I have experienced when the home athletes are in action.

Nearly every fan was on their feet shouting and chanting, with firecrackers even being lit in some parts of the arena.
