I felt like Dan and Andy were the better competitors there. They have just refused to give it away.

You can never, ever, count out Andy Murray.

That is also a factor on court. What he has achieved comes with him onto every tennis court - Daniel and Nishikori would have been aware of that.

    "LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Murray stands. He screams. He shakes.

He ain't letting his career disappear down the drain just yet.

A 10-point match tie-break will decide whether Murray continues or goes home to see the family.

While that tie-break has been going on the La Defense Arena has ramped up and up in anticipation of tonight's swimming finals.

Adam Peaty will come later but first up is Leon Marchand, one of the French poster boys of these Games, in what he hopes will be the first of four races for gold.

The French fans have been singing La Marseillaise already. I'm worried about the structure of this roof if/when Marchand wins.

Britain's Max Litchfield is one of those trying to stop him.

The loss means GB are now third in their pool and they will have to beat South Africa on Monday to advance.
