Life in the old dog yet...

Murray and Evans roar and slap hands with the same intensity as Legion of Doom when they break back.

A decent percentage of this Lenglen crowd is British, with a good number of Union Jacks fluttering when their boys level.

    BBC Sport in Paris

It’s crunch time for Great Britain as they face Australia in their second Pool B match at the Stade de France.

GB started their campaign with a 21-12 win over Ireland but will need to step it up a level against the 2016 Olympic champions.

Australia, who won the World Series Grand Final in June, are desperate to make amends for a shock quarter-final defeat at the Tokyo Olympics and in Madison Levi have an electric winger capable of scoring from anywhere.

Levi scored a staggering 69 times in the World Series and bagged four in Australia’s 34-5 thrashing of South Africa earlier today.

Alongside the likes of Antoine Dupont in the rugby, Leon Marchand is no doubt one of the faces of the games for France. Only 22 and about to become something so incredible, he goes to another planet if he wins tonight.

There are more medals to come and he could possibly get two or even three golds, so the sky is the limit for him. Everyone who is French tonight that is coming to this arena is coming for him, to push him if he needs it.

Picture perfect on Court Suzanne Lenglen.

But will it be the start of what Andy Murray hopes will be a fitting farewell?

Murray himself said here at Roland Garros, after losing in the first round of the French Open several weeks ago, he knew there is no "perfect ending" to a tennis career.

Managing to win a medal alongside Dan Evans would be a pretty cool way to bow out.

Not sure how likely that'll be, mind.

GB's Evie Richards speaking after finishing fifth in the women's mountain bike: "I'm super happy. I was in bed with concussion six weeks ago, so I just can't believe I made it. Then to get fifthplace, I am so proud. My family are also so proud and we made all of our dreams come true today.

"It was a super quick track and from concussion it is hard to come back to that pace but the other girls were flying round there. I just wanted to stay calm and not make any mistakes, so I'm chuffed.

"For me, just from missing so many races with my head, I just wanted to have a top-10 start and just push after a strong start."

Team GB boxer Rosie Eccles speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live after her controversial defeat earlier today: "Disbelief. Absolute disbelief. When it really wasn't going her way in the last round she was holding and holding and she even got a point off for it. She didn't land anything clean, and I am just shocked, really shocked. I don't know what to say.

"When they started to take points off her I thought it was a dead cert [victory] to me, but when it started to take some time I started to worry. I thought, what's going on here?"

On how she felt when the decision was announced: "I still don't know. I feel like I'm in a dream. You know how much I pushed to get here, I was so ready. I have overcome everything and now my dream's over.

"There's not another [Olympic] cycle for me, my body won't do another cycle. So it's over for me. I just can't believe it has ended this way. It wasn't meant to be for whatever reason. My family aren't even all out here yet. I'm just really sad."

Diyora Keldiyorova beat them all. If you look at the draw there, there is nobody else there left for her to beat.

It doesn't get much better - she beat Abe, Buchard and Ballhaus and now Distria Krasniqi - it doesn't get much better than that.

She was outplayed really but Krasniqi didn't get the chance to take advantage of her power and strength because Keldiyorova dropped underneath. Job done.
