'Greenbank was quite a bit over the 15 metre limit'published at 20:17 British Summer Time 31 July

    Swimming - men's 200m backstroke

    Rebecca Adlington
Double Olympic gold-medal winning swimmer on BBC TV

The rule is that you have to have your head above the surface before the 15 metre line. Luke Greenbank is slightly near the surface at the line and it just comes up there but his head is not fully above the water until a litle bit later. It was quite a a bit over the limit, so they did not contest it.

He is so excited to race that he probably didn't realise. It is a different venue to what you expect at the Olympic Games too, a temporary venue, the lights, the setup may be different to what he is used to.

    Swimming - men's 200m butterfly final

    Mark Foster

The victory was all in the turn from Leon Marchand. The 50 metres off the wall was the deal. Tactically Marchand will have known that Kristof Milak likes to lead from the front, he did that in the heats and the semis, so just sit on him then pounce. It was Michael Phelps-esque in that final 50 metres.
