In a great atmosphere on Court Philippe Chatrier, the pair of Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal have been beaten in the quarter-finals of the men's doubles.

Americans Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram dominated the opening set, but Alcaraz and Nadal had chances to grab the break of serve in what proved to be the last game of the match.

But Krajicek and Ram get the win to move into the semi-finals.

Nadal, the King of Clay and a 14-time French Open champion in this Roland Garros venue, waves goodbye for maybe the last time to the Paris crowd.

Wow! Totally unbelievable. That is the third fastest swim ever on the 200m butterfly. People talk about a slow pool but what a race. Kristof Milak will be despondent, he wanted this so badly, but I am not sure he quite put enough work in. Leon Marchand got him in the end.
