Surfing semi-finals rescheduledpublished at 06:50 British Summer Time 4 August

Some news from Teahupo'o, Tahiti and both the men's and women's surfing semi-finals and finals have had to be rescheduled... because of a lack of waves.

Well, "lack of wave conditions" is the official wording in the Paris 2024 statement but either way, surfing without waves is clearly not ideal.

The events will now take place tomorrow evening at 18:00 BST, waves permitting.
