Japan's Haruka Funakubo and Sarah Leonie Cysique of France took the bronze medals.

All over for Dan Evans in the singles.

Evans loses 6-1 6-2 to Greek eighth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in a one-sided second round match.

It’s a nightmare match-up for Evans, really. The lanky Greek has too much size and quality and cruises to a fifth straight victory over the Brit.

Oh well. Evans, as he admits himself, has bigger fish to fry.

Tomorrow he’s back alongside Andy Murray in the men’s doubles.
