    England 76-0 Wales

A stat flashes up, England have made 135 tackles today. Wales have made 246.

The Welsh are moving like a time who have had to make more than 100 more tackles than their opponents. Exhausted.

  2. Postpublished at 72 mins

    England 76-0 Wales

What a chastening afternoon for Wales. They have barely made 10 yards when running with the ball, and have been punctured time and again when defending.

Recently they qualified for the World Cup for the first time. They have a lot of work to do in order to be competitive in that tournament.

  3. Postpublished at 70 mins

    England 76-0 Wales

As discussed, this would be England's greatest margin of victory in a women's international. It's the most points they have ever scored in one game.

And with 10 minutes to go, it only looks like the margin and the points total will increase.

The assist for this try is down to Zoe Harris. She picks out the push runner Amelia Brown.

The softest of hands and a hat-trick on Brown's debut. That's something to remember!

    Amelia Brown (67 mins)

    It's a new record!

England go left to right, left to right through the hands, weaving through the Wales players as if they were manniquins.

Amelia Brown again surges from fullback, she has really emerged as this game has gone on. She picks up the ball and powers over the line. Her third try, a hat-trick on debut.

Izzy Rowe has found her range it seems, as she converts again.

  6. 'A wonderful try'published at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time

Hollie-Mae Dodd has been key in this game.

Her footwork is unbelievable, she is powerful and she will beat anybody over that line - a wonderful try.

It's wonderful to see her back in an England shirt.

CONVERTED TRY - England 70-0 Walespublished at 13:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    Hollie-Mae Dodd (65 mins)

    One score from the record!

Hollie-Mae Dodd, making her first England appearance since leaving York Valkyrie for Canberra Raiders in 2023, ploughs between the posts to get the try her selfless work today has earned. Again there were four or so Welsh players around her, but the attempted tackles were tired and fruitless.

    Izzy Rowe converts. 70-up.

  8. Postpublished at 64 mins

    England 64-0 Wales

A reminder, as per Steve Sutcliffe's post earlier, that England's record win is 72-0.

They are two unconverted tries from matching that. Surely a new mark will be set today?

  9. 'Brown has grown in confidence'published at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time

    England 64-0 Wales

    John Kear
Wales Men's Rugby League Head Coach on BBC Two

The Huddersfield Giants player Amelia Brown has grown in confidence as this game has gone along.

Jodie Cunningham's involvement is superb. Brown isn't going to pass in that position and she gets her second try of the game.

  10. Postpublished at 63 mins

    England 64-0 Wales

England have now surpassed their winning score against Wales last year, of 60-0 - and there are still 18 minutes to play.

They come forwards again... but Olivia Wood is brought down by a powerful tackle from Dani McGifford. A much needed bit of solid defending.

    Amelia Brown (60 mins)

England's players are taking turns to score.

I'm afraid it's dire defence from Wales, as there are three or four covering defenders as Amelia Brown overlaps down the right wing. Brown however knows she doesn't need to pass, she can just run straight through and the attempted Welsh tackles are weak.

Brown scores her second try of the day, England have their THIRTEENTH. Issy Rowe converts this one.

    Vicky Molyneux

Credit to Amy Hardcastle. You cannot deny the invovlenement she had in this play.

It's really high paced from England and the try came from the defensive effort from Anna Davies.

    Anna Davies (57 mins)

    High five!

After the fifth tackle, England put together yet another brilliant flowing move as Amy Hardcastle and Anna Davies combine yet again.

Davies palms a tackler out the way with frightening ease. She become the first ever English woman to score five tries in a single international.

Izzy Rowe's kicking radar is wayward again, though.

Paige Travis' pressure has been great. She puts an England shirt on and you know she is going to do a job. She has been phenomenal.

  16. Postpublished at 54 mins

    England 54-0 Wales

England are going at more than a point a minute, and look like scoring every time they pick up the ball.

    Wales look shell-shocked.

Again England come forwards here, Amelia Brown gets yards from the line but this time is stopped. Handover to Wales, a very small win.

  17. 'A great individual try'published at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time

    England 54-0 Wales

    John Kear
Wales Men's Rugby League Head Coach on BBC Two

That's a great individual try from Katie Mottershead. She's so evasive and she was determined to cross the line.

I think she would have got a penalty try if she had not scored due to a high-tackle.

  18. converted try

CONVERTED TRY - England 54-0 Walespublished at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time

    Katie Mottershead (51 mins)

Even the hooker is getting in on the act!

Katie Mottershead spots a gap, gets her head down and bulldozes towards the line. The disorientated and discombobulated Welsh try to bring her down and so nearly do, but Mottershead has the power to just reach the line under the posts.

Izzy Rowe converts - she has five successful conversions from 11 attempts.

  19. 'England are making it look easy'published at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time

A carbon copy of the try from Amelia Brown. England look so calm and they are making it look easy.

  20. try

TRY - England 48-0 Walespublished at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time

    Erin Stott (48 mins)

    Another debutant try for England.

England have looked even more deadly after the break, coming straight back after the restart before clinically passing out right where Erin Stott finishes in space.

The only think stopping this being truly embarrassing for Wales is the kicking of Izzy Rowe, who again misses the conversion.
