Wales are being punished for their errors and penalties.

The technique of the passes from Isabel Rowe and Amy Hardcastle is first-class.

They are passing the ball without breaking a stride.

    Too, too easy.

From the restart, Jodie Cunningham bludgeons her way through the middle. The ball is laid to half back Amy Hardcastle, and she completes the fruiful pipeline to Anna Davies who is unstoppable down the left wing.

Davies' fourth try today, can she be the first woman to score five in a game for England.

Izzy Rowe again hits the upright with her conversion - but this time the deflection clips the ball between the posts.

  3. 'England squeezed in the Wales defence'published at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time

    England 38-0 Wales

    Amanda Wilkinson
Barrow Raiders Women head coach on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

England capitalised on a Wales error, but Izzy Rowe recognised they wanted to shift from left to right, and got a quick play-the-ball to allow her team to attack the right edge and they really did squeeze in the Wales defence. It's tactically great attack from England to give themselves that space.

  4. try

TRY - England 38-0 Walespublished at 12:56 Greenwich Mean Time

    Amelia Brown (43 mins)

    Debut try!

Izzy Rowe, with her red and white scrum cap, is once again at the centre of this play.

The 18-year-old carries with purpose before setting up the play out to the right, with fullback Amelia Brown making the overlapping run to score on her first England appearance.

Rowe has been superb in play today, although her kicking has been a bit lacking. For the second time today, her conversion strikes an upright and bounces away.

    England 34-0 Wales

    Caitlin Beevers
Leeds Rhinos centre on BBC Two

The shape that is being thrown on the left edge is immense. Isabel Rowe has found her feet.

I think Wales are giving England too much possession. The pressure that England are putting on Wales is leading to them not being able to get their kicks away.

  7. Kick-offpublished at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time

    England 34-0 Wales

We are back under way for the second 40 minutes.

Wales were sent back out very early, Tom Brindle won't have been happy with their first half efforts.

Half and half scarves are not hugely popular with some supporters particularly given the tribal nature of domestic competition but for special occasions like internationals they represent a pretty decent memento.

Emma and Harper have nipped across from the other side of Leeds for this international double header and say they "expect two" England victories this afternoon.

  9. 'We have to tighten up on the edges'published at 12:50 Greenwich Mean Time

Wales captain Beth Dainton, speaking to BBC Two: "Really tough out there. I asked the girls to not give up.

"We have to tighten up on the edges and on one-on one tackles. It is so tough, we need to find a way of getting through them."

  10. 'Davies is causing havoc'published at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: England 34-0 Wales

England captain Jodie Cunningham, speaking to BBC Two: "Really happy. We have spoken a lot about not starting slow, the big focus was the start and we have kicked on in the rest of the half."

On Anna Davies: "She is such an athlete and she got a chance with England late on in her career - she is causing havoc today."

  11. 'Outstanding movement off the ball'published at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time

The movement off the ball for England is outstanding. You can see their spending a lot more time together and getting the training sessions in when they move with such confidence. they kept the ball alive with great skill and good passing.

  12. Postpublished at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: England 34-0 Wales

    Steve Sutcliffe
    BBC Sport at Headingley, Leeds

England's biggest ever win was 72-0 against Russia at the 2008 World Cup. But if they continue at this scoring rate that could come under pressure.

The hosts could arguably have gone into the break over 40 points up, such has been their dominance.

  13. 'Vision, strength, finishing'published at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: England 34-0 Wales

    Amanda Wilkinson
Barrow Raiders Women head coach on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

It's been a great game so far for England. Great vision from the halves, great strength from the forwards and finishing well from the backs. The only downside for England is that it's not testing them defensively at all, for those games against the tougher teams.

  14. Half-timepublished at 12:40 Greenwich Mean Time

England fancy one more try before half-time, but Amy Hardcastle rushes her pass to Anna Davies under pressure and it flies out of play.

That's the first time Wales have successfully defended an attack down the England left. They have been ripped apart so far today.

  16. 'Davies with the powerhouse finish'published at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time

    England 34-0 Wales

    John Kear
Wales Men's Rugby League Head Coach on BBC Two

Let's applaud the part played by Isabel Rowe.

Rowe has the composure and she sees the pace down the short-side. Anna Davies one-on-one with anyone will take some stopping.

    First-half hat-trick.

Izzy Rowe, celebrating her 18th birthday today, is the playmaker here - rather than kicking back inside, she spots Anna Davies making a blind side run down the left and finds the wing with a cute pass.

Davies, who scored two tries on her England debut versus France in the summer, crashes over again for her third today. Five tries in one and a half internationals, not bad.

Rowe's conversion hits the post and bounces away!

    A really well worked try.

Numbers on the right-hand-side and it come from the initial carry from Paige Travis.

A great line from Hollie-Mae Dodd who had options on both sides, but she managed to send Eboni Partington into the corner.

  20. Postpublished at 33 mins

Wales have to pick themselves up and take the positives from coming so close to scoring against England.

It was debutant Dani McGifford, the former heptathlete, who touched down in the corner - but replays showed her foot was clearly in touch before scoring.
