Worcester Warriors sign Cooper Vuna and Sam Lewis

Worcester Warriors have signed Australian dual-code international winger Cooper Vuna and Welsh flanker Sam Lewis with immediate effect.
Both Lewis and Vuna are available for the rest of the season and may feature on Saturday against Plymouth Albion.
"Cooper has experience at the top of the game. He'll be a valuable player," said director of rugby Dean Ryan.
"Sam has experienced the highest level of club rugby and is hungry to develop within a successful environment."

Born in Auckland, Vuna played rugby league in his native country with New Zealand Warriors, before joining Australian side Newcastle Knights. He was picked in New Zealand's 2008 World Cup squad, but chose to represent Tonga, for whom his dad John had won international caps in rugby union. | |
After crossing codes, Vuna signed for Melbourne Rebels, earning two caps for the Australian international team when the Wallabies hosted Wales in a three-match series in 2012. |
Vuna, 27, represented Tonga in rugby league before winning two caps for Australia after crossing codes in 2010.
Lewis, 24, who requested to have his Ospreys contract terminated last week, has been a regular in the Pro 12 and European Champions Cup over the last two seasons, having made 65 appearances since signing from Swansea in 2012.
Worcester have signed six new players for next season, which they hope will be back in the Premiership, following relegation 11 months ago.
The Warriors signed flankers Phil Dowson from Northampton and Carl Kirwan from London Welsh as well as Bristol pair Andy Short and Luke Baldwin, Edinburgh's Scotland international fly-half Tom Heathcote and Italian prop Derrick Appiah.
