Launceston boss Jimmy Tucker urges physicality after another loss

Launceston have nine games left to claim a first win of the season

Launceston head coach Jimmy Tucker wants his side to be more physical after their 34-0 National Two South defeat by Redingensians.

It was the third game this season in which the Cornish All Blacks have failed to register a single point.

"Our training sessions are getting more physical - we almost want it to become violent," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"We want the players to be really revved up and to know that's how they have to be on a match day."

The loss was Launceston's 20th in 21 games, keeping them 29 points adrift at the bottom of the league.

The club have yet to win a game all season, with their only positive result coming in a draw with Southend in November.

"I'm running out of things to say after another defeat," added Tucker.

"We didn't have any quality ball really throughout so we're living off scraps.

"We can't wave a magic wand - our squad is what it is - I don't mean to be disrespectful to that but this is what we've got to work with."
