Nick Selway: Jersey hooker cleared of dangerous play charges by RFU panel

Jersey Reds hooker Nick Selway has been cleared of dangerous play by a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel.
The 27-year-old had initially been cited for a dangerous tackle in the islanders' 23-18 Championship loss at London Welsh on Saturday.
That charge was amended to one of dangerous charging, which he denied.
A three-person panel dismissed the charge against the former Plymouth Albion and Cinderford forward, who is now free to play.
"Nick has got an exemplary track record and I'm really pleased that we got the right outcome," Reds head coach Harvey Biljon told BBC Radio Jersey.
"There was no intention by Nick in any way to injure anyone. It was one of those rugby incidents where it is a contact sport and you're going to get injuries."
