Pro14: Ospreys 6-47 Glasgow Warriors

Glasgow made light of having 14 players absent on international duty as the Conference A leaders handed bottom side Ospreys their heaviest league defeat.

Ospreys were without 10 internationals, but started with six Wales caps and had another four on the bench.

They trailed 14-6 at half-time, with two Sam Davies penalties trumped by Adam Hastings and George Horne tries.

Scott Cummings and George Turner tries secured the bonus point, before Horne, Brandon Thomson and Leo Sarto crossed.

Glasgow have now won all nine of their Pro14 matches this season.

Ospreys had wing Hanno Dirksen back after nine months out with injury, but the South African had little chance to show what he could do with ball in hand before being replaced by Dafydd Howells after 58 minutes.

Unbeaten Glasgow included two debutants in their starting XV, with Italy cap Samuela Vunisa at number eight and Kiran McDonald at lock.

Siua Halanukonuka, Hamilton Burr and Kaleem Barreto also made their Glasgow debuts after coming off the bench at the Liberty Stadium.

Glasgow were in command throughout, but their tries from Turner, Thomson and Sarto were all interceptions as Ospreys desperately tried to find a way back into the game.

Ospreys coach Steve Tandy said: "When you look at it there were three interceptions and conceded some real soft tries.

"It's really frustrating... we should never be losing those games, we've got a good enough side out there to produce a better performance than that.

"Without sounding boring, the training week the boys have been where they need to be and if I'm honest as a coach I didn't see that coming."

Glasgow coach Dave Rennie said: "We're really happy with the attitude and the effort today.

"We've had a good look at Ospreys recently and thought they were really impressive in Europe, could have beaten Clermont and Saracens.

"We want competition for places and you saw some of the other guys... do really well. I'm excited, we've got some genuine depth."
