Apart from their try in the second half Lyon have not really threatened Bath - maybe two or three times they've looked threatening and then they've sort of mucked it up with silly passes or somebody pulling somebody back.

They've not been as impressive as we thought they might be and without being rude I don't think Bath have really got out of second gear either.

Bath are just too strong across the board.

    A good try.

It all started from a Lyon line-out, you'd thought they'd be driving that on. It was thrown over the top, complete utter miscommunication, Bath picked it up and spread it wide and once it had broken through with the inside pass to Ben Spencer who has a good turn of pace and he went over from 22 metres.

This Lyon side can not live with Bath. They have been too strong in all positions.

    Bath 27-12 Lyon

    Gareth Chilcott

Whenever Bath get that five metres away from the opposition's try line they usually come away with points.

It leaves Lyon with a long time to go but everything needs to stick, they're going to have to play some running rugby, they have to actually try and spread it a bit wide.

They might not have enough time to play it tight against this Bath pack who are beginning to dominate now.
