A little bit of re-wiring for the ref and we are back under way.

    No changes from either side.

Wales need a natural 10 in the game. Nothing against Ben Thomas, but it isn't ideal to have a 12 playing 10 in these conditions.

We expected a kicking battle but Italy are just kicking better. The tactic to kick is the right decision by Wales but it is just the execution.

  6. Team news: O'Mahony recalled by Irelandpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Italy 16-3 Wales

Peter O'Mahony has been recalled to the Ireland team for Sunday's Six Nations game against Scotland at Murrayfield.

The British and Irish Lion, who was not involved in last week's win over England, is handed his first start since last summer's tour of South Africa.

Wing Mack Hansen has been ruled out because of a hamstring injury.

The Connacht back missed training on Saturday and will be replaced on the right wing by Munster's Calvin Nash.

Tight-head prop Finlay Bealham is fit to start, while Robbie Henshaw replaces Garry Ringrose at outside centre.

Sam Prendergast is given the nod at fly-half with Jack Crowley on the bench along with hooker Dan Sheehan and back row Jack Conan who impressed against England.

Ireland team in full: Keenan; Nash, Henshaw, Aki, Lowe; Prendergast, Gibson-Park; Porter, Kelleher, Bealham; Ryan, Beirne; O'Mahony, Van der Flier, Doris (capt).

Replacements: Sheehan, Healy, Clarkson, Baird, Conan, Murray, Crowley, Ringrose.

Italy are well worth their 13-point lead having dominated the key areas of this game - kicking and breakdown.

I have to agree with Jonathan Davies in saying Wales have been pedestrian and predictable in attack.

They have had more of the ball but are making no impact. Saying that, Josh Adams HAD to take that try.

It's far from over but Wales need inspiration while Italy are just playing smarter in the conditions.

The attack just isn't there. The problem at the moment for Wales is making the right decisions.

Tomorrow's Six Nations action sees Scotland host Ireland at Murrayfield (15:00 GMT).

Both sides picked up wins in the opening round, with Ireland beating England 27-22 and Scotland overcoming Italy by 31-19.

Let's see how the teams line-up.

  13. World rankings at stakepublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Italy 16-3 Wales

    • Italy will only surrender 10th place to Wales if they suffer a defeat by more than 15 points
    • Wales will drop to a new all-time low of 12th if they lose after Georgia beat Netherlands 40-7 in the Rugby Europe Championship
    • This would be the first time that Georgia would sit above Wales since the rankings began in October 2003

It's frustrating. You can see that Wales are trying to control the game better than they did last week, but it's Italy that have had control so far.

Wales look like a team low on confidence.

I thought they would be a team on edge who would come out fighting for their lives but that has not just happened.

There are going to need to be some miracle words from Warren Gatland at half-time.

Wales are doing good things, but the accuracy just isn't there.

In these conditions, your skill has to be that little bit higher.

  19. Inaccuracy costing Walespublished at 38 mins

The passing just isn't good enough from Wales, unfortunately.

It's too slow and too inaccurate.

  20. Close!published at 36 mins

    Another chance for Josh Adams.

He chases a kick-through but knocks-on before skidding over the line.

Wales do go back for the penalty though.
