That is all from us after an entertaining afternoon at the Aviva Stadium. After a couple of underwhelming performances this month, Andy Farrell's men threw the shackles off today and played some nice stuff, scoring plenty of tries.

Australia will be a bigger task next week and Joe Schmidt will be looking for a winning return to Dublin. You can join us for more live text updates on that next Saturday. Like today, it is a 15:10GMT kick off.

We hope you will join us then but, for now, you can read Andy Gray's report from the Aviva here.

Thanks for joining us - goodnight.

There were some big performances today, be it from debutants or fringe players. Has anyone done enough to force their way into the team ahead of next week?

It could have been 70 (points), let's be honest.

They will be pleased with a lot of that - they looked very good when they got into their flow and shape.

He (Andy Farrell) will be pleased that they have blooded some of those good, young players.

  6. Bundee back with a bangpublished at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 52-17 Fiji

How good was man of the match Bundee Aki today? He has certainly given Andy Farrell a selection headache ahead of Joe Schmidt's return to Dublin with Australia next week.

  7. 'Ultimately it's a really good workout'published at 17:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Gareth Steenson
Former Ireland fly-half on BBC Radio Ulster

From a defensive point of view, to only concede two tries, they will be pleased with that.

In the second half the structure started to come into play and they started to play in the right areas.

The only disappointment is that there were a few injuries, especially in the back line which was a bit disjointed but ultimately it's a really good workout

  8. Sam the man?published at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 52-17 Fiji

What to make of Sam Prendergast's performance today?

He nailed four of his six kicks, set up Mack Hansen's first try with a great kick and also spent time in the sin-bin.

A busy afternoon in Dublin on his first start.

Certainly a case of job done for Ireland with plenty of positives from their best showing of the autumn.

Fascinating to see how much stock Farrell puts in that 80 minutes when he comes to pick his side for their fourth and final November game against Australia back here in Dublin next weekend.

  10. Aki "Young guys were brilliant"published at 17:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 52-17 Fiji

Man of the Match Bundee Aki speaking on TNT Sports:

"I thought the young guys expressed themselves brilliantly today. There is still a lot to work on, though, for Australia next week.

I had to learn from my mistakes after missing out last week and I worked very hard in training this week and thankfully it paid off."

Everyone was great during the week and we did our analysis well to get the result today."

  11. 'A lot of positives to take away'published at 17:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    Chris Henry
Former Ulster & Ireland flanker on BBC Radio Ulster

This game was always pinpointed to make the changes - we were missing seven or eight frontline players.

For me, the Prendergast-Frawley link was really important in this game.

It wasn't the complete package but absolutely there are a lot of positives to take away from today.

It wasn't perfect and Fiji did not help themselves at times but, my goodness, that was a much more enjoyable game for Ireland.

Scores were shared around and some young and fringe players made a name for themselves on a much-improved Saturday afternoon.

As "Zombie" rings around the Aviva, stick with us for all the post-match reaction.

  13. 'Every minute counts for fringe players'published at 17:11 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 52-17 Fiji

    Chris Henry
Former Ulster & Ireland flanker on BBC Radio Ulster

This team is littered with fringe players and every minute counts for them. They want to keep the ball in hand. It's about how many phases they can keep and finish positively by getting over 50 points.

  14. try

Try - Ireland 52-17 Fijipublished at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ronan Kelleher

The final Irish sub gets Ireland over the half century mark with a lovely sidestep after a Caelan Doris pass.

Sam Prendergast misses the conversion after there was some pushing and shoving after Craig Casey took exception to Peni Matawalu putting a shoulder into Kelleher as he scored.

  15. Man of the Matchpublished at 17:08 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 47-17 Fiji

Bundee Aki is named man of the match after a super performance. A great way to respond after being left out last week and he has a big smile on his face sitting on the bench.

Just to recap...Ireland are finishing this game with a scrum-half on the wing, a hooker in the back-row and their number eight playing centre.

Exactly as Andy Farrell drew it up in his head, I'm sure.

  17. Replacementpublished at 17:05 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 47-17 Fiji

Caelan Doris living every forward's dream as he has moved into the centre! Bundee Aki is withdrawn in place of Ronan Kelleher who goes into hooker with Gus McCarthy into the back row and Doris partners Stuart McCloskey for the last five minutes.

    This could be fun!

After a tough old stint so far in a new position, Tom O'Toole was chatting to referee Hollie Davidson before that last scrum, asking her what she wanted to see from him at the set-piece.

Bundee Aki is looking hungry today and he breaks through Caleb Muntz before taking several Fiji defenders with him over the line.

However, he can't get it down as he is held up.
