  1. try

Converted Try - Ireland 21-3 Fijipublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time

    Craig Casey (con Prendergast)

Ireland do go for the maul but Fiji do their best to disrupt it. However, Ireland spy space on the narrow side and Casey acrobatically leaps over his opposite number Peni Matawalu for an NFL-style touchdown.

Sam Prendergast nails the extras from the touchline with a brilliant nudge.

Ireland get a penalty on the line that Sam Prendergast knocks into the corner.

    Maul incoming?

  3. Ireland want to be 'more ruthless'published at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time

Former Ulster & Ireland flanker on BBC Radio Ulster

I think if you're on the Fijian side, you're probably thinking 'should it be closer?'.

It's a great scoreline for Ireland but we really want to capitalise in these next five minutes and be more ruthless.

  4. Replacementpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 14-3 Fiji

Pain and disappointment is etched all over Jamie Osborne's face as he limps off and is replaced by his Leinster team-mate Ciaran Frawley.

A beautiful flat pass from Sam Prendergast sets Josh Van Der Flier through a gaping hole and into the 22. Ireland get quick ball but a big hit from Jiuta Wainaqolo stops Prendergast in his tracks and Jacob Stockdale gets driven into touch.

  7. Postpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 14-3 Fiji

What a move that was! From a lineout, the Ireland backline gets purring and away go Jacob Stockdale and Jamie Osborne.

They make it to the Fijian 22 on the right wing but Stockdale's pass is put down by Mack Hansen.

  8. Replacementpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 14-3 Fiji

Fiji's scrum half Frank Lomani exits with a shoulder complaint and is replaced by Peni Matawalu.

Ireland were attacking against 13 there with the yellow card and Lomani down injured.

The forward pass with numbers outside a real missed opportunity.

  10. Disallowed trypublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 14-3 Fiji

Cormac Izuchukwu thought he had a debut try but Mack Hansen's looping pass to the Ulster man is adjudged to have gone forward.

It is really tight and the Connacht wing looks perplexed at the decision but he could have played a simpler pass.

  11. Postpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 14-3 Fiji

Another overhit kick from Prendergast as he puts one out on the full on the Fijian 22.

However, Ireland win a turnover and are deep in the green zone!

  12. Fiji 'outsmarted' by Irish triespublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time

Another really smartly-executed mini-play from Ireland. Fiji probably a bit guilty of ball-watching and not coming up straight. Ireland's two tries have outsmarted Fiji - it wasn't anything too elaborate.

  13. Sin-binpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 14-3 Fiji

Loosehead Eroni Mawi is binned after a dangerous tackle on Caelan Doris. However, Sam Prendergast bites off a little too much and puts the kick dead.

A waste of a chance there for Ireland.

  14. Penalty Ireland 14-3 Fijipublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Caleb Muntz

A good nudge from Muntz after Tadgh Beirne was penalised for going offside after a lineout.

Sam Prendergast returns as Fiji get some points on the board just before Ireland come back to full strength.

  15. Ireland 'want to keep ball in hand'published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 14-0 Fiji

    Chris Henry
Former Ulster & Ireland flanker on BBC Radio Ulster

The collisions have been really, really high, really physical. The Fijians are really up for this, you can see every time they get the ball it's taking two players of Ireland to really put them down.

The boys are really going to be hurting if they are defending and they want to keep the ball in hand as much as possible.

  16. converted try

Converted try - Ireland 14-0 Fijipublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time

Josh van der Flier (con Casey)

A Robbie Henshaw break brings Ireland within five metres. A desperate Frank Lomani tackle tops him but Fiji are pinged for not rolling away.

Ireland go quick and Caelan Doris unselfishly gives it to his back row partner to barge over. With Prendergast off, Craig Casey pops the simple conversion over.

    Ireland 7-0 Fiji

    Jonathan Bradley

Not sure which Fijian player it was but someone didn't agree with Prendergast's card remaining yellow anyway.

A huge "WHAT?" picked up on the ref mike...

  18. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 7-0 Fiji

Sam Prendergast has a wry smile as his yellow card will not be upgraded to a red. He will be breathing a sigh of relief and he will return in just over four minutes from now.

  19. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 7-0 Fiji

Jamie Osborne has been standing in for kicking duties in Sam Prendergast's absence and he launches a long clearance to halfway.

Fiji take it quickly but Joe McCarthy strips the ball at the ruck to win an Irish penalty just inside their own half. Osborne sends it deep into opposition half.

  20. Postpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ireland 7-0 Fiji

A reprieve for Ireland on their own try-line but discipline continues to be the talking point around the team so far this autumn.

Two in the sin bin against Argentina last week and now Sam Prendergast shown a yellow just eight minutes in today.

Odd how what has been such a consistent strength for Ireland has become a weakness in the last few games.
