    Ireland 3-0 New Zealand

    Matt Gault
BBC Sport NI senior journalist at Soldier Field

That is an absolute hammer blow for Ireland.

Not only did Tadhg Beirne shine in the British and Irish Lions tour, but he also looked in inspired form for Munster against Leinster a fortnight ago.

The boos ring out around Soldier Field.

  2. Red cardpublished at 20:27 GMT 1 November

    Ireland 3-0 New Zealand

I can't quite believe this, but Tadhg Beirne's yellow has been upgraded to red. It's a big 15 minutes or so for Ireland with the new 20 minute red card.

    That's a huge, huge call.

  3. Postpublished at 20:25 GMT 1 November

    Ireland 3-0 New Zealand

It's a bold move as Jack Crowley goes for the crossfield on his own 22-metre line, but he puts too much on it and it's into touch.

  4. Postpublished at 20:25 GMT 1 November

Caleb Clarke motors forward and he's chopped down by Tommy O'Brien.

The ball is turned over and Ireland win it back in their own half.

Ireland will be delighted with that considering momentum hasn't been with them so far in the game.

Nonsense. No head contact. Arm to arm.

    Andy, Abergavenny

    Frustrating... but the right call.

    Bryan Logan, Exeter

In the time in took for them to review that incident, I took the dog out for the toilet!

  8. Penalty - Ireland 3-0 New Zealandpublished at 20:23 GMT 1 November

    Jack Crowley

    And he makes it!

That'll settle any early nerves and it flew right between the posts from the 10 metre line.

Jack Crowley points to the posts. This is a big whack out but pretty central.

  10. Postpublished at 20:22 GMT 1 November

Caleb Clarke dances around five or six green shirts and is in space, but there's crossed wires and his pass is dropped by Cam Roigard.

In fact, Brousset deems that there was obstruction on Stuart McCloskey and Ireland have the penalty instead of the scrum.

In the middle of all that, All Blacks captain Scott Barrett is off for a HIA check after a separate incident.

Two of the three Barrett boys in the wars early on.

On the pitch, Jamison Gibson-Park hammers it clear.

The line-outs haven't been slick from either side so far.

It's a deep throw to the back of the line out but it's been knocked on in the maul, and they have the scrum about 10 metres from their own line.

    And it's a yellow card.

Tadhg Beirne, who was so good for the Lions in the summer and for Munster against Leinster, is off for an early rest.

It's going to be looked at by the bunker.

Brousset and his assistants, Karl Dickson and Luc Ramos, are huddled around a tiny screen on a desk. But they've made a decision.

We've now had more minutes waiting on this to be looked at than we've had actual minutes of rugby.

So, they can't get the screen working.

The TMO Ian Tempest is talking Brousset through it, and he's going to take a look at the sideline monitor VAR style.

That could very easily be more than just a penalty. Not only is it illegal, he doesn't drop his height at all.

There's a delay as the officials on the pitch can't actually see the incident on the screen just yet.

    Apparently there's a sideline monitor as a plan B.
