  1. Second half under waypublished at 41 mins

    Scotland 29-10 Fiji

Off we go again! Will it be more like the first half hour? Or will it be like the final 10 minutes?

Tom Jordan still on, by the way. He's a permanent change.

The opening 30 minutes, Scotland obliterated the Fijian set-piece.

Fiji couldn't get a foothold, couldn't get any possession at all.

But once Fiji start dominating the gainline, it becomes a tough old game.

They've fought their way back in. They were dead and buried, we all thought it would be 60-odd.

Ireland or New Zealand, this would be a 60-point game but we've allowed them back in.

  4. 'Rudderless' Scotland allow Fiji back inpublished at 18:36 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November

    Tom English
BBC Scotland's chief sports writer on Sportsound

30 minutes good for Scotland, 10 minutes very bad. The penalty count was 9-0 after half an hour. Now it's 10-7 and Scotland have a man in the bin.

Maybe they've gone to sleep a little bit. They need to get their heads back in the game.

Scotland are in a game and they need to put this to bed quickly. All the momentum is with Fiji.

Scotland looked like rudderless in the last 10 minutes.

  5. Half-time Scotland 29-10 Fijipublished at 18:33 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November

Well, that was all a bit odd wasn't it?

It looked like Fiji were headed for a whitewash, a pummelling, a complete capitulation. They were at sixes and sevens, shipping penalties quicker than they could keep up with and allowing Scotland in four times.

Yet, in the final ten minutes, they camped Scotland inside their own 22m and scored two tries of their own.

    Rugby's an odd sport.

  6. try

Try Scotland 29-10 Fijipublished at 40 mins

    Meli Derenalagi

It's Scotland who are leaking penalties and once again, Fiji are knocking on the door.

And they're over again through the blindside flanker Derenalagi, powering over from close range.

  7. Debut for Jordanpublished at 40 mins

    Scotland 29-5 Fiji

There's a debut for Tom Jordan in the final play.

Kyle Rowe is off for an HIA, at least, after that huge tackle he was on the receiving end of.

  8. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Scotland 29-5 Fiji

As we come towards the end of the first half, it's again the Fijians who are in the ascendancy. They work the ball out to Ponepati Loganimasi, who skips past two challenges and dots down...

But the whistle had gone for a forward pass. They had an advantage though. Fiji penalty.

  9. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Scotland 29-5 Fiji

You might be wondering why Scotland went for the three points.

They're down to 14 men after Ewan Ashman's sin-binning, and Adam Hastings took as long as possible to take that penalty.

They just want to get back to the full compliment, and didn't feel confident attacking with ball in hand when they're a man down.

  10. Penaltypublished at 37 mins

    Scotland 29-5 Fiji

Fiji concede a penalty almost immediately after collecting the restart.

Everyone seems unsure why. It seems to be for a foul at the box-kick from Frank Lomani.

Adam Hastings takes the penalty and drills it through the sticks.

Steve Tandy, Scotland's defence coach, he'll be furious.

It was poor on the edges. Kyle Rowe didn't execute, Huw Jones, Sione Tuipulotu and Rowe again were unable to stop Armstrong-Ravula.

Great defence, followed by poor defence.

  12. try

Try Scotland 26-5 Fijipublished at 35 mins

    Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula

Fiji make the extra man count!

The work it wide, Ponepati Loganimasi steps past Kyle Rowe and hands inside to Armstrong-Ravula who burrows over the line.

Caleb Muntz isn't able to add the extras from out wide.

  13. Sin-bin Ewan Ashman (Scotland)published at 33 mins

    Scotland 26-7 Fiji

For the very first time, Fiji's throw in the corner works - they'd had five attempts at it.

The Scottish defensive wall is starting to creak. If it comes down to pur power, you'd think the Fijians will go over...

The play is held up and Ashman is binned by referee Evans. That's three already.

  14. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Scotland 26-0 Fiji

Fiji had kicked the ball into the corner, but the throw is poor again and Rory Darge is able to pick it off.

Scotland clear, Fiji come back at them, but the defence holds strong... for a bit.

Another penalty is awarded to the visitors and it's the Scots who are now on the wrong side of Craig Evans.

  16. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Scotland 26-0 Fiji

Scotland are penalised now for a high tackle and they're able to punch forward through the middle after a quick tap from Frank Lomani.

The collisions in every tackle are monstrous.

Duhan van der Merwe meanwhile, fields a Fijian cross-kick and sets off towards the try-line... but the whistle has already gone.

Murrayfield thought he was in there.

If Fiji don't watch out, they'll have another forward put off.

That's four scrum penalties give away.

  18. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Scotland 26-0 Fiji

Fiji kick to the corner and the resultant driving maul looks good...

But Scotland are able to wheel it and they win the penalty! Pierre Schoeman is the man being congratulated. Solid defensive work, and a big win for the forward pack.

  19. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Scotland 26-0 Fiji

Fiji are able to get the ball into the Scotland 22m for the very first time. Can they work this into a scoring chance?

They've got the penalty advantage here, as Caleb Muntz begins to pull the strings.

Jack Dempsey turns over and we come back for the penalty, as Apisalome Vota comes back on and Fiji are restored to their full compliment.

    Scotland 26-0 Fiji

Former Scotland back row on Sportsound

An easy score for Scotland. When Fiji have had possession, they've been very limited.

Huw Jones and Sione Tuipulotu are coming up quick, putting up pressure on ball-carriers.

Scotland have not had to work for their points.
