    Kyle Steyn (24 mins)

    Wow, no-one was expecting that!

After absorbing so much Munster pressure, Glasgow now have the lead.

A fumble in midfield from Alex Nankivell allows captain Steyn to dash clear and sprint home from 50-metres out.

George Horne makes no mistake with the extras.

Even better Richie Gray is back on the pitch to bring the Warriors back to 15 men.

    Peter Wright
    Former Scotland prop on Sportsound

A great defence isn't it. I think the problem with Munster is their 10, is he green enough to ignite the backs? They're lacking a spark.

  3. Postpublished at 18:26 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 3-0 Glasgow

The referee decides it was actually a knock-on from Munster in the rip, but it makes little difference as the hosts obliterate the Warriors scrum.

Some heavy carries from Jeremy Loughman close to the visitors' line but Munster are pinged for holding on and Glasgow escape...for now.

  4. Glasgow discipline creakingpublished at 18:23 British Summer Time 15 June

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at Thomond Park

It's very difficult to get a foothold against Munster, even more so when you're on the wrong side of the referee.

Glasgow conceded six penalties in a little over 10 minutes, an unsustainable situation if they're to stand a chance here.

Munster's misfiring line-out is keeping Glasgow in it at the moment, but plenty of time to go.

  5. Postpublished at 18:23 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 3-0 Glasgow

Glasgow finding themselves under real pressure inside their own 22.

A chip over the top from Craig Casey has Glasgow running from deep, but they fail to get out of their own 22 as Tadhg Beirne rips the ball from a Warriors carrier...scrum Munster 10-metres out.

  6. Postpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 3-0 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
    Former Scotland prop on Sportsound

Niall Scannell is a poor technical hooker, he's a good loose hooker, really good at carrying, but he's poor technically.

  7. Postpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 3-0 Glasgow

All a bit chaotic now at Thomond.

Glasgow doing well to make the ball a bit scrappy for the hosts but there is space out there for Munster you feel with the man advantage.

  8. Penalty Munster 3-0 Glasgowpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 15 June

    Jack Crowley (13 mins)

No mistake this time from Crowley from bang in front.

Glasgow may feel the heat as they are down to 14 men for the next 10 minutes.

  9. Postpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 15 June

Munster grinding the Glasgow defence close to the visitors' try line, but Richie Gray is offside and sees a yellow card as Jack Crowley aims for the posts from in front.

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow

Glasgow once more offending at the Munster lineout and concede a penalty out wide left only 10-metres out. This time Jack Crowley goes to the corner.

  11. Postpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow

    Colin Gregor
Former Glasgow Warriors back on Sportsound

Having had a really composed and threatening opening two minutes, Munster have followed it up with a nervy five minutes where they've made some fairly basic errors.

Glasgow are really aggressive with their counter rucks and making it difficult for Craig Casey.

  12. Postpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow

A side entry from Warriors' Zander Fagerson at the ruck is pinged and Crowley kicks Munster inside the Glasgow Warriors' half.

Interference at the lineout from Glasgow hands and Munster have a kick to the corner by way of an unenforced penalty.

  13. Postpublished at 18:10 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow

Breathless start here at Thomond Park.

Glasgow bite back with some speedy ruck ball to break into the Munster 22, but as they get within five metres of the try line, Sione Tuipulotu is pinged for holding on whilst on the deck. Now it is the men in red that breathe a sigh of relief.

  14. Postpublished at 18:08 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow

    Colin Gregor
Former Glasgow Warriors back on Sportsound

Jack Crowley compounds his missed kick with a loose pass which Sebastian Cancelliere does really well to pass onto Huw Jones but Munster messing up their own line out.

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
    Former Scotland prop on Sportsound

I know it's knockout rugby, but I thought Munster would have the confidence to go to the corner rather than the posts.

Ooh the crowd were not expecting that. Jack Crowley slices the ball just right of the uprights from right in front 25-metres out. A let-off for the Scottish side.

  19. Munster looking to avoid another 'punch on the nose' from Glasgowpublished at 17:57 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster v Glasgow (18:00 BST)

Munster head coach Graham Rowntree says Glasgow's last visit to Thomond Park - a 38-26 win for the Scottish side in March 2023 - has proved to be a valuable lesson for his side.

"28-0 at half-time wasn't it?" he said. "I'll never forget that dressing room but we were better in the second half. I think the term I used was 'it gave us a punch on the nose'.

"Certainly defensively we changed some key elements of our game and how we were training. I look back at what we learned and we picked up from that game and it's stood to us since."

  20. Warriors look to halt Munster juggernautpublished at 17:54 British Summer Time 15 June

    Munster v Glasgow (KO 18:00)

This has all the makings of a classic URC semi-final here in Limerick.

Two clubs who have built a genuine rivalry over the years and two teams littered with talent.

Munster are on a 10-match winning roll and look to have the sort of momentum that swept them to the URC title last season.

Glasgow at their best, however, have the capacity to win this and that's what it will take, their very best.

The weather has been foul in Limerick for much of the day but the sun is out now, there's a bit of a breeze and the Munster supporters are starting to crank up the noise.
