Converted try Bulls 17-14 Leinsterpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 15 June

    Caelan Doris (50 mins)

Superb response from Leinster as they win a penalty and choose to tap and go rather than take the three points. It pays off as Doris powers over from close range and Byrne adds the extras.

  2. Postpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 17-7 Leinster

Hands on the ball they get! Leinster move the ball through the hands and win a lineout five metres from the home line after good work from Garry Ringrose and James Lowe.

They now have a penalty as The Bulls stray offside. Much better from Leo Cullen's men.

    Bulls 17-7 Leinster

It's one-way traffic here as The Bulls' immense scrum wins one against the head inside their own half. Cameron Hanekom breaks off the back and makes ground down the right before grubbering through.

Jamison Gibson-Park, as he so often does, defends well and is tackled off the ball by his opposite number Embrose Papier and Leinster clear. They breath a sigh of relief for now but they need to get more hands on the ball.

  4. converted try

    Sergeal Petersen (42 mins)

What a try! Beautiful hands from the Bulls get it out to the left wing where Harold Vorster puts a perfectly-weighted kick through. Petersen is rapid and outpaces the Leinster defence to dive over in the corner.

Goosen converts from the touchline and Leinster have had the worst possible start to the second half.

  5. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 10-7 Leinster

We are back underway for another fast and physical 40 minutes of rugby.

  6. Half-timepublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 10-7 Leinster

That three-pointer from Goosen is the last kick of the half as the hosts go in front right on the whistle.

Leinster have been on the back foot and their defence has held out relatively well but how much longer can that last in the second half?

Leo Cullen's men need to come out of the traps quickly in the second 40. Things are on a knife edge and you don't want to go anywhere.

  7. Penalty Bulls 10-7 Leinsterpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 15 June

    Johan Goosen (40 mins)

Goosen knocks over a penalty as the Leinster scrum is decimated.

  8. Postpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 7-7 Leinster

Willie Le Roux's boot is causing Leinster all sorts of problem defensively. We are into the last two minutes and it's a scrum to the Bulls inside the 22.

  9. converted try

Converted try Leinster 7-7 Bullspublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 15 June

    Johan Goosen (31 mins)

Goosen converts his own try from straight in front as the hosts strike back with Petersen still in the bin.

From the lineout, a couple of phases pin Leinster back before Goosen hits a beautiful in line to pierce the defence and go under the sticks.

  10. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-7 Leinster

Willie Le Roux puts Leinster under pressure with a beautifully-weighted kick into the corner via a white shirt. Bulls on the attack...

  11. converted try

Converted try Bulls 0-7 Leinsterpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 15 June

    James Lowe (24 mins)

Leinster immediately take advantage of their numerical advantage. The maul is solid and they come down the blindside allowing Ross Byrne to pop a basketball-style pass to Lowe into the corner.

Byrne nails the conversion from the left touchline and the visitors open the scoring despite being on the back foot for a while.

  12. Sin-binpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

Sergeal Petersen is sent to the bin for ten minutes for a deliberate knock on as Leinster moved the ball through the hands.

Ross Byrne puts the ball into the corner and the visitors have their biggest chance to get over the line.

  13. Missed penaltypublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

Cameron Hanekom is pinged for going off his feet at the ruck but Byrne's penalty from the halfway line is well wide.

22 minutes gone and still no score.

  14. No trypublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

It's a very short TMO check as it is obvious that van Staden illegally checked Byrne as he was trying to get into the defensive line.

It's a shame as it was a lovely try with some great hands from Goosen and Le Roux putting Williams in the corner.

  15. try

Try Bulls 5-0 Leinsterpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 15 June

    Devon Williams (19 mins)

Or maybe not... TMO is looking at Marco van Staden taking out Ross Byrne.

  16. Postpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

The in-stadium DJ is pumping the tunes during every stoppage in play and the vibes at Loftus Versfeld are wonderful!

Just over a quarter of an hour gone and neither side have blinked but there has been some thoroughly enjoyable rugby.

  17. Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

Some manic play from the hosts as they go coast to coast and back again and, but for a dropped pass they may have been in.

Eventually, a good hit from Jordan Larmour puts Elrigh Louw into touch. The experienced Willie Le Roux is pulling the strings from full back with his range of kicking.

  18. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

An absolute monster of a drop goal attempt from Goosen falls just wide from the halfway line.

The thin air in Pretoria will make the kicking game crucial for both teams today.

  19. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

What a super bit of play from Jamison Gibson-Park. The Leinster scrum was struggling but the scrum half picks from a difficult situation and puts a kick right into the corner to put the Bulls under pressure.

Johan Goosen clears but it's a Leinster lineout just outside the 22.

  20. Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 15 June

    Bulls 0-0 Leinster

Just over five minutes gone and the two sides are playing a bit of kick tennis with neither really getting the better of territory.
