The stage is set for France to deliver in front of a home crowd.

Lucu is an interesting one. He came on last week and was outstanding off the bench. Last season, when he started games, he was nowhere near as impactful.

Scotland should try and disrupt him in any way they can to see if that disrupts the French team.

Scotland have to play quickly and try keep the tempo high, which is a risk because you have got to be accurate.

Scotland fans are in an odd position coming into this match, given the situation.

With hopes of the title non-existent thanks to defeats by Ireland and England, most Scots would rather see France take the crown instead old enemies England.

Conversely, England fans will be cheering for Scotland in a bizarre twist.

We're just inconsistent, aren't we? We don't know how to beat Ireland, that's the biggest thing. I thought this year we'd fine a way to compete better.

The biggest issue Scotland have are these tight games. We've got a soft underbelly at times, we don't play for 80 minutes.

We have a good 40 and a bad 40 minutes. We can't string those good periods together.

Gregor Townsend is asked by ITV how Scotland plan to cope with France's seven-strong battalion of forwards waiting on the bench.

"We went against something similar when we played South Africa in November," the head coach replies.

"It's a mental challenge as well as a physical one to say, 'okay seven fresh forwards', but they've got to get up to the speed of game we are playing and we have players who can come on too."

Scotland will have to score 20-30 points if they're going to stand a chance of beating this French juggernaut.

France defence guru Shaun Edwards gives a typically concise interview to ITV.

"We're under no illusions it will be in any way easy," he says of tonight's match.

"Scotland have been our bogey team the past four or five years."

On the stricken Antoine Dupont, who will watch his team-mates inside Stade de France, he adds: "We want to win it for Antoine. If it happens, I'm sure he'll be up there lifting the trophy with Greg Alldritt."
