Wow, a third scrum and third penalty for Wales.

Thomas Clarkson is getting a tough time from Nicky Smith on his Test debut.

He needs to be careful he doesn't get a card here.

Wales have played far more creatively than we've seen in the first two games.

That's what happens when you've got a fly-half playing at fly-half. Wales are being patient and they're keeping their sense, but they need to be able to recycle these phases.

Ireland make a mess of a long lineout throw that was intended for Robbie Henshaw.

But from the resulting scrum, they have conceded a second penalty.

The try comes from an exceptional carry from Joe McCarthy. Wales haven't done a lot wrong but that's why Ireland are so good.

Just relentlessness and ruthless efficiency to everything they do.

It just shows the difference, Ireland's speed of the ruck play is phenomenal.

Ireland strike first through their number eight.

Joe McCarthy makes the initial burst and then it's all about the strength of Conan. Poor Tonmos Williams was powerless to stop him.

    It's ruthless from Ireland.

How exciting is this? The two scrum-halves today, Jamison Gibson-Park and Tomos Williams, along with Antoine Dupont are in the top three nines in the world.

These two have got to be the front runners for going on that British and Irish Lions tour in the summer.

What an opportunity for these two to challenge each other on the biggest stage.

Wales have done quite well in the set piece, the scrums and lineouts went well.

You have to get the basics right just to get any level of competition.

Ireland second row Tadhg Beirne, speaking on BBC One:

"[The focus] has been on ourselves. This group wants to continue to get better. There's been a focus on Wales and what they're going to bring as well.

"We haven't had the best success here over the years so we want to put that right today."

    On what Wales will bring...

"A lot of passion, we don't really know. They'll change their system up a bit no doubt. They've got nothing to lose today They can go out and express themselves."

    Seven changes for Ireland...

"With the way we've trained over the past two weeks, it's looked fairly good and we'll hopefully show that on the field today."
