It was a really well-worked try, the best play we have seen from New Zealand, with forwards and backs stringing their play together and another really good finish down the touchline.

She has been their best attacking player with ball in hand. Scarratt gets an awful bounce, Vahaakolo mops it up and no-one is catching her. What a lovely finish.

A very quick try from Hunt (two minutes into the second half). Too quick for the fans to process and react!

Natasha Hunt was really smart around the fringes, and it was a carbon copy of Lucy Packer from last week to snipe over. That's really smart number nine play.

Nicola lives in Bristol but is originally from Auckland, New Zealand.

She moved over in the 90s but has remained a big Black Ferns supporter.

"I have to keep in with my roots of New Zealand," Nicola told BBC Sport.

"I haven't been able to watch any games back in New Zealand, hopefully in the future I can.

"The family have got their England tops on but I am a Kiwi girl."

Ashton Gate will host World Cup games next year, which Nicola hopes to get tickets for.

"I will go matter who is playing in Bristol and of course I want to go to the final here," she added.

New Zealand's last victory was a 62-0 hammering of rivals Australia in July.

The step up in quality seems to have surprised them.

A big response is needed, and they are known for comebacks - as seen at the World Cup final in 2022 - but a repeat would be a huge ask.

    What a first half.

It was a nervy start from England, it took time before they got that first try but how exciting has it been?
