When they get their opportunity they take it - free-flowing rugby or driving maul, they don't care. A really good drill, formed and delivered well.

England strike first from their trusted rolling maul.

The line-out goes to hand and then the white shirts pump towards the line before captain Marlie Packer grounds the ball.

There are some bright moments but a little too much overplaying from England. They need to be more clinical with possession.

There will be no doubt now if New Zealand fancy this one.

They've dominated the early exchanges and have cut England open multiple times.

John Mitchell wanted a proper Test match ahead of WXV, he has certainly got one.

    England 0-0 New Zealand

New Zealand are clearly looking to utilise Ayesha Leti-I'iga as much as possible.

It's a clever kick from the base of the ruck by scrum-half Maia Joseph straight into the bread basket but the wing loses control of the ball in last-ditch tackle by Ellie Kildunne.

    England continue to stand firm.

What a covering tackle by Jess Breach on her opposite number Ayesha Leti-I'iga.
